“Your Fired”

I really don’t think anyone ever thought that Donald Trump would move his show to the Oval Office. It may not be a “reality show” but it is nonetheless a reality. Nobody does a firing like the “Boss Donald”. I realize that the Prez didn’t fire McCabe, but he may as well have. His top law enforcer did it. Maybe Sessions firing McCabe will keep him from being a victim of the big boss man. Who up until now has voiced his displeasure of how he was doing his job, on more than one occasion. Or maybe I should say not doing his job.

Last Wednesday, my wife and I were discussing whether or not McCabe would really be fired. She was saying he definitely should be fired. I was in agreement but expressed my doubts, asking when was the last time you saw a government bureaucrat fired for a bad act. These people are never held accountable for the dishonest and underhanded crap  they do. They just wander away never to seen or heard from again. I could create a very long list, topped by Ted Kennedy, never being held accountable for the death of that young lady he killed when he drove his car into the Chappaquiddick river. How about Lois Lerner, head of the IRS who was never held accountable for the hundreds of people that were stripped of their rights because of her partisan beliefs.

In my opinion, the mother of all crimes by a politician was when Barrack H. Obama loaded 1.5 Billion tax payer dollars on an unmarked aircraft and transported the pallets of cash to the Mullahs in Tehran. Read 18 U.S. Code SS2339B.    www.law.cornell.edu

Considering that Iran is the largest state sponsor of terrorism on the planet, and especially Hezbollah, I think this makes Barrack Obama guilty of violating this act, which prohibits providing material support or resources to a foreign terrorist organization.

People, this goes on at all levels of government from the cities right up the Presidents office. If we are going to preserve this Republic, we cannot be mere spectators, we must become activists. Protest these destructive forces at all levels. Especially in public education. These people have our children’s ears and minds for 12 to 16 years. Do not let strangers indoctrinate your children, stand strong against the education boards. They are a strong force. Over half the people in the education field are administrators not teachers. They are the people behind the scenes deciding what and how your child will be taught. Take a stand, don’t allow your child to be turned into a group thinker. Free thinkers make a free society.

Is everyone else as sick of seeing and hearing Hillary Clinton as I am? I am at a total loss as to why she thinks we give a damn why she lost the election. After all what does it matter? Remember when you were a little kid playing sand lot games, and two hot shot kids were the team captains, and they started choosing who they wanted to be on their teams. Well that could be a pretty humbling experience. If you were the last one chosen it was pretty obvious to you and everyone else that you sucked. Can you imagine Hillary as a little kid driving everyone crazy for the next month explaining why she was the last one chosen. It all comes down to the same conclusion….she sucks.  I mean think about it, Donald Trump is constantly on the move with seemingly boundless energy, while Hillary is falling down stairs in India. Hillary, shut up, and suck it up baby, you’re a loser.

I’m pretty sure Adam Schiff is going to be coming out with a book soon called “What Happened” part two. He will be explaining how the satanic Republicans were able to prevent him and the other lame brain Dems from proving Trump/Russian collusion when it was so darned obvious anyone should have been able to see it. I can even see him and Hillary doing a joint book tour. Won’t they make a sweet looking pair?

Someone please explain this to me. Nikolas Cruz the Florida school shooter is trying to save his ass. He says he will plead guilty if the death penalty is waived. C’mon, it’s not like we don’t know who did it?? What makes this dummy’s attorneys think they have any leverage over anything. There were dead bodies and loads of witnesses. Is there anyone that’s not sure who did it? Sheriff Israel is a total dumbass, but he’s not even that stupid. So, what difference does it make whether he pleads guilty or not. This creep deserves to die just like those poor kids he gunned down in cold blood.

Last but not least, the gender debate. The last I heard there are folks out there claiming that there are over seventy genders. Oddly enough these claims seem to be coming from our establishments of higher learning. Does that sound a little paradoxical to anyone but me? I’m wondering if any of these other genders are about to produce offspring? If so, I can’t wait to see what they look like. Will they have rainbow colored hair? Will their skin color be multicolored, sort of like a calico cat? Will they have more fingers and toes than normal people have? I’ll bet they’ll be dual sexed, having both male and female genitalia. I’ll feel good about that too, when I tell them to go screw themselves.

Life is good, only if you stay thirsty. Always beware of liars and cheaters. AKA politicians and car dealers. Remember, email and people are a lot alike. If they don’t look or sound right, if they give you an uneasy feeling, hit the delete button. If you find out later you made a mistake, hit the retrieve button. Be smart, don’t be a victim.

To my loyal readers, you’ve probably noticed I haven’t been as productive as usual lately. I’ve had a couple of other projects I have been doing. The weather is getting noticeably better, and I have been able to go outside and get some things done that were long overdue. Also, the news has been pretty lackluster as of late. So in this issue I am going to cover several different items that stirred my interest.

UFO’s are back in the news. I love UFO’s. More video was released this week from an encounter off the east coast that took place in 2015. If you haven’t seen it, make an effort to do so. Also, sort of related is the story about black holes. I have always heard that if anything enters a black hole, it is compressed down to virtually nothing but energy. Apparently there are lesser black holes ( you can tell I don’t know Jack about black holes ) that if you were to pass through one of these, your past would be erased and you would have the opportunity to exist in multiple lives. This is according to some genius mathematician that is supposed to be able to figure this stuff out. By now you are asking what do black holes have to do with UFO’s. Well maybe ( beware, this is a theory by an a total math dummy ) there are an infinite number of parallel time dimensions all existing at one time. Perhaps some of the time dimensions are way more advanced than we are. How hard would that be, think Maxine Watters. Maybe, just maybe, those infinitely more advanced folks venture into our time dimension, since, as the mathematician says, they are able to live more than one life. That’s the best I got.

While we’re on the subject of stupidity, I heard today that Nikolas Cruz told the school therapist that he was going to shoot up the school. He called the FBI twice and told them he was going to shoot up the school. He made it known on social media. Two other people reported him to the FBI. I think the only thing this guy missed was Craigslist. In the end it didn’t matter, nobody did their job. So sad that 17 kids died for who knows what reason.

It’s premature to speculate on what is going to happen in regards to North Korea. But, one things seems pretty clear to me that President Trump out crazied Kim Jong Un. It’s also pretty hard to keep spending huge sums of money launching missiles when you ain’t got no money, and your folks are starving. If you’re markets have been cut off so has your cash flow. That makes it really hard to fight a war. I don’t know the last time you purchased rocket fuel, or ammunition for your artillery, but it gets pretty expensive pretty darn quick when you start trying to kill lots of folks real fast. Jennifer Lawrence said after the Oscars she was taking a sabbatical from acting to become and activist. Well, she seems to have changed her mind. Funny thing about alcohol.

The Republicans from the House Intel Committee released their findings today in relation to Russian Collusion. Over seventy witnesses, thousands and thousands of documents. The conclusion, NO COLLUSION. Which begs the question; What the hell is Mueller doing other than wasting your money? They are now calling him the ” unguided missile “.

The Democrats pretty much abandoned DACA when they found out that it would cost them “chain migration” and the Visa Lottery. Suddenly the price was too steep. Ahh, the art of the deal.

I’m looking forward to warm weather, getting the old yard in shape for summer, and just getting out and enjoying the outdoors. I would not even attempt to make a claim about being a back yard cook. I ruined a perfectly great rack of ribs last summer. I took major ridicule for at least a month. My goal this summer is to learn to cook ribs. I’ll let you know how that goes when I get the nerve to try it again. ( If they let me near the BBQ )

There has been a fixation on the safety of our school children as of late, since another halfwit decided to kill a bunch of his classmates. Add another two dozen or more idiots that were asleep at the wheel and allowed him to do it. A lot of people were screaming out that a crazy guy was planning on doing something stupid and nobody was listening.

I’m going to give you some numbers to look at. Think about them and try to find the sanity. The numbers I am going to give you are dealing with youngsters only.

School Shootings: About 15 homicides and five suicides per year nationwide

Drugs and Alcohol: 37, 758 per year nationwide

Abortions: 324,000 annually. ( these kids didn’t even make to kindergarten )

Abortions since 1973: Since Roe vs. Wade, 54 million babies have died.

General Population Deaths by Overdose: 2016 more people died from overdoses than in the entire Viet Nam War.

Roughly about a half a million human beings a year lose their lives to things other than guns. Do you think all of the clamor over gun control is really about something else after  seeing these numbers? In my opinion, our society has more to worry about than guns.

I have something else for you to ponder. You can get a nice big fat traffic citation for fooling around with your cell phone while driving. Does it make any sense to you that auto manufacturers are putting large touch screens in cars to control it’s functions? I recently drove a Chrysler car with a touch screen. To operate the ventilation system you have to take your eyes off of the road far too long to adjust it’s functions. The same applied to the sound system. I’m sure all other autos are now similar, but it makes no sense to me. How is that different from a cell phone? How is it not just as dangerous?

Be vigilant. The lefties are crafty, and will happily use tragedy to whip up public emotions to get stupid laws passed. They hate the first and second amendments and will use any excuse available to damage their effectiveness.

I think it’s an amazing phenomenon how this all happened. I’m not enough of a conspiracy nut to think that on a dark stormy night, in an abandoned factory in Detroit, that this plan was hatched up by 20 shadowy characters in black hooded robes, sitting around a large round table illuminated by a single 60 watt bulb. Nope, I think it just kinda happened, from a whole host of random ingredients thrown into society by many different sources.

I think the initial spark plug or catalyst, whatever you want to call it, was the movies. It took TV awhile to become a viable factor, due to very conservative rules in programming which eventually were eroded. My reason for saying this is based on the natural tendency for young people to want to rebel against the old guard. Having lived through the fifties as a teenager I can testify that the rebel mindset was alive and well. One of the wildly popular movies of the day was “Rebel Without a Cause”. It captured the mood perfectly. Also “Blackboard Jungle”. These movies were very stirring for young people.

I have made this statement before. Hollywood is very, very good at producing films that portray the seedy side of humanity. Some may call it the dark side of humanity. In the sixties, the portrayal of sex, violence, and drugs accelerated on the big screen. Hollywood also did a great job of glorifying the rebellious side of youth. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that these types of movies don’t plant seeds the minds of young viewers that are already on the wrong mental pathways. It is my opinion that Hollywood single handedly planted and harvested the seeds of the sexual revolution. Hollywood has always sought a world of unbridled sexual activity where anything goes. Read the history of some of the earliest days of Hollywood, and the famous actors and actresses that led crazy, wild lifestyles.

In the mid to late sixties, it was apparent that young people were becoming much more likely to engage in behavior their parents and grandparents would not have. From my observation ( I was there ) I think this was the turning point when the mind set we see today was born. It was the beginning of the free wheeling attitude where anything goes. I remember a song with lyrics that said “if you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with”.  It was a generation scrapping pretty much all of the beliefs held by it’s predecessors. The problem was, that is was done out of rebellion, and no thought was given as to why the “hand me down” social “do’s and don’ts” existed in the first place. The new generation just knew they didn’t want to be restricted from doing whatever felt good. Oh yeah, remember that phrase from the sixties & seventies, “if it feels good, do it”.  Obviously crafted by an immensely intelligent person. ( on drugs )

After the sixties on into the seventies the left became increasingly lenient when it came to lawbreakers. I remember hearing people comment that the criminals had more rights than the victims. Corporal punishment was banned in schools. Parents were being urged to not use corporal punishment in their homes. Youngsters were receiving much less  punishment for their misdeeds no matter where they occurred. Schools initiated not keeping score in games played by pee wee teams so nobody would get their feelings hurt if they lost. At the end of the season everyone got a trophy for just participating. When you loose and you know it, you play one hell of a lot harder next time. Losing doesn’t hurt you, it makes you stronger, makes you try harder, prepares you for life as an adult.

The left did the same thing in academics. Nobody failed anymore. Even if your grades sucked you still moved onto the next grade level. When I was a kid, I was scared to death that I would fail and be the laughing stock of my classmates. I made damn sure I passed. I was also afraid of the reaction of my parents if I came home and told them I failed. Failure was not an option. It should still be that way. If everyone simply accepts the fact that it doesn’t matter, that there are no consequences, you end up with a bunch of lazy useless people that expect to be rewarded for doing nothing. Sounds a bit like socialism doesn’t it. When you think about it, it shouldn’t surprise you that Bernie Sanders garnered so much support. It should also scare the hell out of you.

So, back to my opening statement, I don’t think this was part of a sinister plan by a secret society, I think the ideology of the left simply grew over the years for all of the reasons I just laid out. There is an ever growing number of people that don’t want to face the consequences of being failures. They want the all mighty government to make sure they still have all of the necessities of life, even though they didn’t do a damn thing to deserve them. They’re lazy. They don’t care if they live in government housing, receive menial government handouts every month, they can lay on their sorry asses and do nothing.  This is an absolutely a non racial problem, it cuts across all ethnicities.

When the majority of the population gets to this state, the lefties will have won the war. First thing to go are the guns. The next thing to go is the freedom of speech. The Constitution will be slowly dismantled so that nobody gets excited, and before you realize it, you are no longer a citizen but a subject.

So if you find yourself at a political fork in the road, I would strongly advise you to veer to the right. It’s as close to the “Yellow Brick Road” that your ever going to see. Choosing the left is the “Highway to Hell”.

Today was a pretty busy news day, and some things I heard piqued my interest. I have commented on one of them below.

LABOR UNIONS

I feel somewhat qualified to comment on this, I was an active union member for the first part of my working life. I was also a Democrat, which is sort of expected if you are a member of a labor union. I fully understand why labor unions were created, and I don’t disagree with the purpose. Back in the early days of the industrial boom, primarily in the eastern United States, before organized unions, large companies were brutal to work for. They forced workers to work long grueling hours, under sometimes unbearable conditions, not paying them overtime, or a decent wage. If you dared to complain, you were fired on the spot. If you wanted to work, you had to deal with whatever they demanded. Labor unions stopped all of that and leveled the playing field. I applaud them for that. However, like most things that generate a large flow of cash, it doesn’t take long for the criminal element to get involved. There have been some rather notorious characters associated with labor unions.

One of the things that I did not agree with as a young Boilermaker, was the blacklist that was published by the union local. It was a list of businesses that were not unionized, urging us not to patronize them. I felt very strongly as a 19 year old, this was wrong. I could not conceive what gave them the right to do that. My friends father’s business was on that list. He had a small sheet metal shop with one employee. I felt that was wrong then, and I still feel the same today, 58 years later. They had no right to try to deprive that man from earning a living for his family.

When I moved to Los Angeles a few years later, I attempted to continue working as a Boilermaker, but getting a referral from the Los Angeles local proved impossible. Not sure why, but I was never dispatched. I suspect that unless you were in tight with the folks running the local, your chances were pretty much nil. Which makes another important point, these people can pick and choose who works and who doesn’t. Pretty much like the large companies the unions are supposed to protect you from.

So, in order to be able to work at my trade as a steel worker, I became an Ironworker. For the next 20 years or so, I worked as a union ironworker. I have no regrets, I was never out of work, I always earned top dollars, with all of the great benefits that go with union jobs. However I must say that over the years of being associated with labor unions I became well aware that they have a dark side. If you step out of line they have no problem putting the muscle on you in many different forms.

When I got older and a bit wiser, I began to notice the power of labor unions extended well beyond the negotiating table. I began to realize they wielded a tremendous amount of political power. The Democratic party and the labor unions are inseparable.They are conjoined forever. This is where it becomes intolerable for me, and others that are not Democrats, and don’t like to be told how to vote and who to buy from. If I work on a job that requires me to be a union member, a large part of my dues go towards supporting the Democratic Party and Democrat Politicians. That is unacceptable to me, when I am a Conservative Independent, and would never support leftist policies and socialism.

The other negative thing about all of this is “payback”. The labor unions put Democrats in power, and the Democrats are compelled to pay back the favor with large government contracts that benefit the unions. One of the many reasons why you pay high taxes. Why do you think it’s so hard to get the government to green light Charter Schools? Because it jeopardizes the jobs of union teachers. Union teachers don’t have to perform at the levels you would expect in a private school. Their jobs are protected regardless of how well they do them. The same exact thing happens in the government at all levels. You can be lousy at your job but you don’t need to worry, you can’t be fired. Make no mistake about it, labor unions are a form of Socialism.

All of that said, today we are at a tipping point. The Supreme Court is hearing the case of  Janus vs. AFSCME regarding whether workers can be forced to pay dues when they disagree with how the money is used. The ruling will likely be revealed sometime in June of this year. If the SCOTUS agrees with Janus, it will be very interesting to see what the fallout will produce. In my opinion the labor unions could have avoided this day by simply allowing the Conservative workers to dissent, and have a separate fund which would be donated to conservative candidates and causes. But then, that would be “fair” and the unions aren’t exactly good at playing fair.

Admittedly I read and listen to a lot of news from a lot of different sources. After reading the articles I pay attention to how the story unfolds over the next few news cycles. I think I have gotten pretty darn good at reading between the lines discerning what the real truth is behind the words in the headlines. I have listed a few below.

Broward County Sheriffs Office Investigates That Multiple Deputies Stayed Outside During Parkland Massacre.  What this really means, is that Sheriff Israel is trying to save his ass. When you offend the governor, your state senator, and one hell of a lot of conservatives, you probably need to update your resume.  

Russian Spies Hacked The Olympics And Tried To Make It Look Like North Korea Did It.  This is what Russians do for a pastime. They don’t have baseball, football, or politics. Engaging in politics in Russia is not healthy. The only smart thing I ever heard John McCain say is that “Russia is a gas station masquerading as a country”.

After a Testy Call With Trump Over the Border Wall Mexican President Shelves Plans to Visit Whitehouse. Enrique Nieto visiting Trump in the Whitehouse, would be like you visiting someone’s house, to which you owed a large sum of money, and had not paid back. It would be awkward and uncomfortable.

Trump’s Hardline Approach Is Forcing Immigration Advocates To Readjust. They can’t figure out how to deal with a President that won’t back down. Every politician “caves” sooner or later??? Who does this guy think he is?

NRA Responds To Boycotts. NRA has five million dedicated members, what the hell do they care if a few car rentals boycott them. The NRA is a gun club that sells nothing but memberships and some NRA gear. These companies announcing boycotts have been hoping to get NRA members to use their services by offering discounts. How is this a big deal? The discounts they offered weren’t that great. So what?

Tiger Woods Squanders Opportunity At Honda Classic. Same shit, different day.

Harley Davidson Is Sad And Getting Sadder. The loyal Harley customers are getting older and many are hanging up their leathers. Younger motorcyclists are more interested in smaller more agile bikes. the Harley image does not appeal to them, and Harley wasn’t paying attention. Marketing is supposed to see this crap.

Columnist Mona Charen of The Ethics and Public Policy Center was booed at CPAC When She Criticized Conservatives For Supporting Roy Moore and President Trump.  Mona’s not too bright. That’s about the same as Dana Loesch showing up at a anti gun rally.

One more rather obscure headline I saw today said that Jennifer Anniston’s husband has been making her live in bad conditions, and they have now split. I can’t imagine that anyone gives a rat’s behind about Jennifer Aniston’s living conditions. What the heck is relevant about this? Why is it even in the news?

Beware of “Fake News” everyone. It really does exist. Remember what Edgar Allan Poe said, Don’t believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see”. (paraphrased) I totally believe that the truth shall make you free. Very few people have good enough memory to be a successful liar, and politicians refuse to give up. I love it when they deny saying something and someone plays a video of them saying it. Karma baby!

                                  The Democratic Broadcasting Network / AKA CNN

When I was a kid about a hundred or so years ago, I remember the big three networks had an equal time rule. I have no idea where it came from, perhaps an FCC ruling, I’m not really sure. However, If a TV station aired a segment from a Republican source, they were obligated to give the Democrats equal time. That rule is obviously no longer in play. Considering the fact that folks were a lot more civil in those days, it may have been self imposed. If anyone has information on this please share it with me in the comment area at the bottom of the page.

Pre Bill Clinton, the lefty bias on TV was always there, but it was  considerably more subtle. When the Clinton’s came on the scene, in my opinion, the left imagined it was going to be a reiteration of John F. and Jackie Kennedy. Or Camelot as the Democrats and the press liked to call them. Bill Clinton was every bit as much of a womanizer as John F. was, just not quite as discreet about it. Comparing Hillary to Jackie is like comparing a plow horse to a thoroughbred. After the Clintons settled into the Whitehouse they started all of the same shenanigans they engaged in while in Arkansas. What they didn’t count on, was that the playground was one hell of a lot tougher in DC. I didn’t take long for Bill and Hillary to amass a goodly amount of enemies. The Republicans would not rest until they saw good ol’ Bubba impeached. And, that my friends was the beginning of the political nuclear war we find ourselves in today.

After the eight year campaign against the Clinton’s the Democrats were thoroughly pissed.  George W Bush took over the reins and he was in for one hell of a battle. The Democrats were out for revenge. Not only were the Dems out for revenge so were the major news outlets. When George W rode off into the sunset, and Barrack Hussein Obama was inaugurated, the left had the largest simultaneous orgasm the world has ever known. There wasn’t a dry crotch in the entire Democratic party or the major TV networks. Alas, after eight years of non stop Whitehouse parties and lavish vacations, and lots of golf, good ol’ Barrack didn’t really accomplish much. One of his biggest accomplishments was to make the racial divide in the United States worse than ever. He also presided over the most anemic economic recovery ever, and will forever be known as the most left-wing President in history. The GDP never rose above 2% during his time in office. His largest cheering squad during his lackluster performance was, you guessed it, major TV news and mainstream media outlets. ( Excluding Fox News of course )

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, enter Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The major TV news outlets took off the gloves and were all in for Hillary. CNN even gave her the questions before a televised debate. They covered for her in every way possible while openly trying their best to destroy Donald Trump. The Celebrity Apprentice was an NBC production, they had a long relationship with Donald Trump. The so-called “Access Hollywood” tapes were property of NBC and had been locked away for years. When NBC thought the time was right to drop the bomb on “The Donald” to destroy him once and for all, they secretly released them to the Washington Post. Everyone thought that Trump would never recover from the release of that tape.

As it turns out, the release of the “Access Hollywood” tape turned out to be a dud. The reason was, that Hillary was a horrible candidate with absolutely no message to uplift anyone. Donald Trump was wounded but not seriously. For the rest of the campaign, the media kept trying to make the tape matter, but in the end it didn’t. They are still trying to dig up old affairs among other things.

Since he took office, the left has been tirelessly trying to make the case that he and his campaign staff colluded with the Russians to rig the election. They have been driving this story for over 18 months with absolutely no evidence that it ever happened. Rod Rosenstein of the DOJ made an announcement last week that the investigation could not find that any American had wittingly colluded with the Russians in the presidential election. End of story.

The way it appears to me, is that this is not going to get any better, anytime soon. So, I think it’s time to re-invoke the old equal time rule. If a news outlet airs a segment that is pro Democrat, they should be obligated to give equal time to the Republicans. That way, everyone will have fair and equal representation. This rule should not be extended to talk radio. Everyone understands that talk radio preaches to the choir. TV news  is different, CNN, MSNBC, and the big three bill themselves as news outlets, and they are clearly biased for the left and a socialist agenda. They are in essence an extension of the Democratic Party. Think about this, the Democrats own the main stream media, and it didn’t cost them a single penny.

Setting the silliness aside, something seems to be happening and nobody can explain it. A lot of people and organizations are becoming more interested in this phenomenon. So, I’m going to give you some information you may not know;

• You are more likely to see a UFO in the USA than anywhere else in the world.
• Sightings are becoming more common. 2500 sightings per 10 million people
• Sightings are 300 times higher than anywhere else in the world
• Northwestern and Northeastern states have filed the most reports for sightings.

World wide UFO sightings have reached an all time high

• 1990: 10,000
• 1990 – 2000: Rose by nearly 30,000, just short of 45,000 sightings reported.

There is an abundance of information for you to research. It only takes a few minutes on line to uncover a mountain of stuff. If you’re interested in this, start looking around, I think you will be surprised. There are a lot of government papers being released now for you review.

I read this one a few days ago, I would highly recommend that you read it as well. There is a very interesting web site call the War Zone. If you’re a “techie” it is a must visit site. It may take you a few times before you reach it but it’s worth the trouble.

Dogs bark at everything, sometimes they have a favorite thing to bark at like squirrels, other dogs, mail men, you name it. Most of the time they just bark in vane, nothing changes. Tomorrow comes and they wake up and start barking again. It’s a never ending cycle.

In reality, I’m not talking about dogs, I’m talking about people and guns. A prominent person gets killed, a little child of a prominent person gets killed, a bunch of people in a school or church gets killed and all of the dogs start barking. Immediately calling for all guns to be banned. Meantime, while they are barking about the school shooting where ten or fifteen youngsters were killed in a up scale area, 50 to 75 youngsters were killed in Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore and other big cities. But these kids are not from wealthy neighborhoods, they’re from the ghetto. Somehow, it’s different when poor kids are getting slaughtered. The barking dogs are silent. Why aren’t the ghetto kids worth getting upset about?  650 people were murdered in Chicago alone last year. 38 times more dead people than the recent school shooting in Florida. Did you see any anti gun rallies related to all of those murders? I can’t remember a single one. Not one demonstration.

Maybe people in Chicago, and other large cities are just more hardened to murder and it doesn’t matter as much as it does in Florida, where murders are much more uncommon, and cause a lot more emotional distress. The knee jerk reaction of the Floridians is, we can’t allow this to happen again, everyone has to give up their guns. I seriously doubt that before last weeks shooting in Parkland Florida, that one Parkland resident devoted even one second of thought to the people getting murdered in South Chicago, Baltimore, or Detroit.

This whole thing is not about guns. This didn’t happen when I was a young man, and guns were just as common as today, and almost no regulations. I could walk down the street with a rifle and no one even gave it a second thought. No my friends, this is all about screwed up culture, and people with screwed up brains. Parents rely far too much on electronic baby sitters. TV, video games, computers and movies. By the time a kid is a teenager he or she has seen and untold amount of very realistic violence and death, sometimes mixed with pornography. Then to makes things even worse, they are getting no spiritual guidance anywhere. Then when the kids start showing signs of depression, which was caused by all of the junk that’s been fed into their brain, they put them on anti-depressant drugs. It’s pretty much downhill from there.

This is a societal problem, not a gun problem. Societal problems are very hard to fix if not impossible. Because nobody wants to change the way they live. They think their lives are just fine. It’s everyone else that’s the problem. What we’re talking about is a country of very selfish human beings, unwilling to consider change for the overall good of humanity. A lot of people talk about it, songs are written about it, nobody does a damn thing, they just bark.

This is the simple formula for fixing this problem:

• Two parent families ~ preferably male / female ( I don’t want to hear your crap )
• Daily allotment of time for family activities and communication.
• Children need to have household chores and responsibilities.
• Access to electronics must be limited and monitored.
• Children must understand discipline and accountability.
• Evening family meal is very important
• Church attendance is very important to help a child understand reverence.
• Parents must set examples of good behavior and respect for others.
• Remember; Monkey see, monkey do.
• Husband / Wife relationship and expression of love is an important example for children.
• Family loyalty to one another is very important for children to experience.
• The family creed should be based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Those are my twelve commandments. If the entire population lived by these twelve items the multitude of our current societal problems would go away. There will always be a loose cannon, that disrupts lives, but there will be one heck of a lot fewer to deal with. The plan I just laid out is pretty much like herding cats, or nailing jello to the wall. My gut feeling is, that the genie is out of the bottle and he don’t really wanna go back in, he just wants to complain about being cold.
