HOW WE ALL BEGIN

The very first peril that you face as a human being is that you don’t get to pick your parents. Talking about a crap shoot. You can get a couple of real jewels, or a couple of real fools. If you knew what was on the outside of your Mom’s nice warm tummy, you would never leave. If you’re anything but the firstborn, you have to deal with brothers and/or sisters. That can be really good or really bad. I was lucky, I had two older sisters that were awesome, they spoiled me rotten. But my little brother wasn’t so lucky. By the time he came along my sisters had moved out and he was left with me. I terrorized that kid. He grew up OK though. He asks me if I remember doing those things, I always answer “nope”.  When I wasn’t terrorizing him I was schooling him on life. That makes me laugh ’cause I didn’t know shit. Just thought I did. Fortunately he sorted it out.

Remember that thing about not being able to pick your parents? Well I got lucky on that too. They took real good care of us and always provided all of the regular stuff. But holy cow, they didn’t take any crap off of us. Do something stupid and you got your ass whupped. But if we got sick or injured, our Mom wouldn’t leave our side until we were well. After raising me, she was a certified RN. If I wasn’t cut and bleeding, I had a broken bone. Scraped knees and elbows, bloody nose, you name it I did it. I was in my fifties when I broke my shoulder. I guess old habits are hard to break.

Just when you have elementary school pretty much figured out, you’re thrown out of the womb again into that horrible place called middle school. This is your first experience in the social melting pot. Now you have to negotiate a seriously dangerous social landscape with a bunch of jerks that you never met before, from other neighborhoods. Those people from the other neighborhoods are really weird. You have to figure out who the bad guys are and perfect your avoidance tactics. This is the first time you really seriously consider quitting school and becoming a runaway, or asking your Mom to let you be home schooled. Slowly but surely you get it all figured out, and you build a circle of friends that you feel you can trust. Against all odds you make it to that final day and you’re ready to move on High School.

Wow, you realize that the older you get the stranger the kids get. Now you have a whole new set of bad dudes and strange O’s to figure out how to deal with. Not only that your school work got one heck of a lot harder. Life at home is getting stranger. You notice your Mom and Dad are suddenly dressing different, changing hair styles ( if your Dad still has hair ) and your Mom is doing Yoga, going to the gym, trying desperately to reverse the aging process. They just sold the family minivan and bought a BMW.  Every time you start getting things figured out, it all changes again. You can’t even trust your own parents. Somehow you get through the mine field of high school and manage to graduate. You had your heart set on going to college, but your Mom and Dad spent the family fortune going through their mid life crisis. But your old man has a cool Corvette and a new Harley. Your Mom now wears a triple D bra. She looks damn good on that Harley in her new leather outfit. Makes you real proud don’t it?

Well you didn’t get to go to college but you got lucky. Uncle Bob is a Union Construction guy and he pulled some strings and got you in as an apprentice. Geez, you thought high school was hard. You have to get up at an ungodly hour and these frigging guys are animals. You gotta work in the freezing cold, and blazing heat, and if you don’t show up for work, or your late, you get a royal butt chewing. But you have another graduation to look forward to. Two long years down stream you become a journeyman.  Now you get to dish out the crap to the apprentices, and your check just got a lot bigger.

Then you meet that wonderful woman. She makes everything right. Suddenly the future is shining like the sun in Arizona. You just can’t imagine living without her and ask her to be your wife. She accepts and the cycle starts again. The big question remains. As you negotiated your way to this point in your life, how much did you learn, and will you be a better person for what you have been through? Often times we simply make the same mistakes our parents did, and don’t really gain much ground. It’s difficult being a human being. There are literally thousands of ways to fail. Fortunately there are just as many ways to succeed. Whether you win or loose is up to you, providing you were blessed with a strong mind and body. Life is good if you make it good, but it’s one hell of a lot harder.

When I was a kid, I was fascinated with aircraft of any type. I don’t have a clue as to how many model airplanes I built. I had them hanging from the ceiling in my bedroom, a lot of them. When I was about ten years old or so, in the early 1950’s there was a flurry of UFO sightings. ( AKA Flying Saucers ) It seems almost everyone had seen one, or knew someone that had. To my total dismay, I never witnessed a so called UFO. I feel totally cheated. I learned of Donald E. Keyhoe, a Marine Corps naval aviator. He wrote several books on UFO’s in which he spoke about sightings by other aviators as well as the general public. I became a huge fan and read all of his books. It seems that the interest in UFO’s went away as quickly as it had came, and I went on to other interests. But, Mr. Keyhoe had convinced me that they were real. I am to this day sure of it, although I have never seen one. Sorta like Bigfoot.

The Department of Defense created a bureau called Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program. They spent 22 million on research over the past few years. Recently Retired Commander David Fravor released some video footage taken from his Navy Jet fighter when he was investigating a UFO in 2004 off the coast of California. It is complete with his comments in which he expresses his amazement regarding the speed and agility of the UFO. You can see it for yourself by looking it up on Google. Commander Fravor went on to say he was certain the object was not of this world. If this picks your interest, there is no shortage of books and videos to peruse. Be sure to read the accounts of people known as ” abductees ” who claim they were kidnapped by aliens and taken aboard spacecraft and were victims of experimental surgery.

The truth is, that people have been reporting sightings of UFO’s for hundreds of years. I have a friend that claims to have seen an incredible display in the Idaho hills when he was a kid, and I know him to be an honest guy, not the least bit “whacky”. So what the heck are they? Where do they come from? With so many eye witnesses over the years it must be true that they really do exist. Could it be that we are living in a Matrix? Are we living in world is merely a façade. Are there are other worlds that are more advanced and sometimes venture into ours? Do we really know as much as we think we do? These questions will remain unanswered I’m sure. In the meantime you have the Game of Thrones to think about.

   The undeniable fact is that politicians don’t give a rip about you, your family, your neighborhood, or anything else. They care about themselves, preserving their positions, and their chosen political party. Remember that statement while you read the rest of my blog.

   There is not one single thing that is good about illegal immigration. There is not one thing that benefits the welfare of the United States of America. Illegal immigrants pay very little tax other than local sales tax. The only ones that benefit from illegal immigration, are the people that exploit the immigrants, forcing them to work for low wages, just a few notches above slavery. In order to get by, the immigrants have learned how to work the welfare system, and get help from the government. So what it creates, is a sub level class of people in a semi socialist world. They know if they show up at a hospital, they can’t be turned away. They get free medical care. Most of these people come from countries with a socialist style government, it’s perfectly natural to them. Illegal immigration is a huge cost to the American taxpayer. Being in this country illegally, they can’t vote. At least not lawfully. So you have to ask yourself, why do the left leaning politicians turn a blind eye to this problem? Why do they in reality, support it?

   Democrats portray themselves as the champions of the downtrodden, which of course includes the illegal immigrants. Make no mistake about this, they don’t really give a rip about the welfare of these folks, it’s about building a huge voter base to keep them in power. Every so often they raise the roof, and cry and whine, saying that these hard working, honest folks deserve amnesty. They have been working and living here for years, being part of our communities. They deserve citizenship, they’ve earned it. Once they become citizens and are able to vote, do you think they are going to be Republicans? Of course not. They embrace socialism, it’s the way they survived. After these wonderful people become citizens, the Democrats forget about them and move on to the next group to exploit. In the meantime, your cities and towns are struggling, trying to figure out how to deal with the poverty and crime this creates, while the Democrat politicians are safely insulated in their gated communities dining on rich food and wine. No impact on them at all.

   LEGALIZED POT

Let’s be honest here. Marijuana is a mind altering drug. Nothing more nothing less. It may have a different affects than alcohol or opiates, but it is none the less, a serious drug. Pot use has always been suppressed. Therefore not much is known about the affects of it’s long term use. Considering the amount of smoke that pot users inhale, I can’t imagine it doesn’t cause some serious damage to the lungs. Think about this for a moment. The state lawmakers literally stripped down the tobacco companies through the courts, and made them pay millions of dollars to the states to create a fund to pay for people with tobacco related diseases. I would be willing to wager that very few of those dollars if any, ever went to help anyone with tobacco related illnesses. Once that money got into the hands of the state politicians, it was long gone.

Also, smokers were shamed and treated like lepers. Smoking was banned almost everywhere in the public domain, even in public parks. It was amazing how almost overnight smoking became socially unacceptable.  But, suddenly all of those concerns about public health no longer matter, when it comes to pot, it’s a huge cash cow for state governments. They don’t give a shit about lung damage, brain damage or any other ill effects of pot use, because it is lining the state treasuries with millions of dollars. The states have long been facing that fateful day when they can no longer pay the retirement benefits of PERS. They can’t possibly levy enough taxes to offset the impending doom. Then marijuana came along and saved their asses. The state governments have suddenly became your local pusher.

The states are so gleeful about this new found fortune, that they have rushed into the pot market without any of the usual restrictive laws that govern liquor and tobacco. Both of these satanic substances are heavily regulated by state boards. Oh, the states have regulations regarding pot, but anyone that has any knowledge of the business can and will tell you the states almost never enforce the regulations. Can you have a liquor store near a public school, not on your life. Can you have a pot store near a public school, no problem. Here is the bottom line people, The Democrats are money hungry mongrels. They could give a rip less about the problems this causes, they are safely insulated in their gated communities dining on rich food and wine. No impact on them at all. The Democrat mantra is ” show me the taxes “.

I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase ” don’t you have something better to do “.  People usually use this phrase when they observe someone doing something that is, in their mind trivial to say the least. That’s precisely how I feel about what is termed the main stream media. They spend huge amounts of time spinning nonsense about President Trump. Don’t they have anything better to do? There has to be other things to report on. I suppose when your so focused on your intense dislike for something or someone, you just can’t bring yourself to talk about anything else.

STEVE BANNON

I didn’t really know much about this guy before the election last year. I knew he was connected to Breitbart News, but I never read his stuff. From what I have heard, he is a pretty far right guy. I used to follow Andrew Breitbart and I had a lot of respect for his investigative reporting. Again, I know very little about Steve Bannon, but he never impressed me when I heard him speak. He looks like a disheveled mess, hardly someone that would command your attention, other than digging into your pocket for change, expecting him to hit you up for money. My opinion of him at this point in time is he  someone that is out for himself, and has no loyalty to anyone. One of those ” anything for a buck ” guys.

THE FBI

What a surprise. Well, it’s really not, at least for me. I have seen so much corruption surface in the Federal Government over the past several years, I’m not really surprised by anything anymore. I think anyone that is awake for at least two hours a day, realizes that the elite politicians, and the wealthy, can literally get away with murder. Read O.J. Simpson, Ted Kennedy, among others. So when you see the FBI stacking the deck in Hillary’s favor, are you really surprised? Well, it looks like we are going to get another look at it. Will it matter, who knows? Stay tuned.
