CENTER – RIGHT PERSPECTIVE ON TODAY’S NEWS EVENTS AND POLITICAL HAPPENINGS.

The past eight days have been extremely intense. My office asked me to do a cost estimate for the steel in an eight-story assisted living center. Turns out that it is the largest estimate of my over 50 year career as a steel construction estimator. It was the perfect time for me to do this as the weather has been scorching hot and the air was filled with smoke from several forest fires. So, hunkering down in my air-conditioned office was a welcome assignment.

After spending all day on my computer and searching through construction plans the last thing I wanted to do was write. However, during this past ten days, some interesting news happened. So, I’m going to comment on some of them anyway even though they are a bit moldy.

HOW IN THE WORLD DID WE GET HERE???

I have embedded an episode from an old TV series from the 1950’s called “I led three lives”. It’s a story about an FBI agent that infiltrated the communist party in the US and became one of the top dogs. They were 30 minute episodes, and as a kid that hated “commies” I think I watched every single one of them. The series ran from 1953 to 1956. I was twelve years old when it first aired. I didn’t really think about it until today in 2026 how anti-communist I was at such an early age. As you can imagine, 73 years later my feelings are even stronger. I wouldn’t expect you to watch all of the old grainy kinescope recording, but I inserted it to heighten your awareness of how anti-communist the attitude was in that era. You may want to do your own research into this true story of espionage.

Obviously, the presence socialist / communists in our nation has existed for a very long time. There are stories about socialist communities springing up and then disappearing for decades. One of the most interesting ones happened in the Mojave desert in California.

“Sidetrack Adventures” just happens to be one of my favorite “adventure/travel” shows on YouTube. Steve is an excellent host and teacher of history. Take a look at his productions, I think you will enjoy them.

This particular experiment ultimately failed as all of them do. These communities are based on the idea that everyone works and produces and shares the fruits of their labors equally. Anyone that has been exposed to human beings for more than a few months know that they have an inherently nasty trait called greed. Even worse when that greed is coupled with laziness things start going south really fast. Even human beings tied together through blood lines don’t get along that well and famously kill each other quite often.

There is also another factor that doesn’t bode well. It’s called self-elected leaders. One of these characters always seems to rise to the top, and claim to be the “leader of the pack”. He is usually the lazy greedy one that wants the wealth without doing the hard labor. As these experiment age, widespread contempt grows, and the whole project is doomed.

Human beings have always gathered and formed communities. It is a natural thing to do for the mutual benefit of all. Protection from enemies, assistance from your neighbors if needed, and comfort knowing someone has your back. But and this is key, people also need to feel like individuals, have personal privacy, and earn their wages on their own, and build their own personal wealth. Property ownership is a major factor in human happiness. Communism isn’t going to provide all of those needs. In fact, communism kills incentives to grow and prosper. Why work harder, when the state takes the fruits of your labor and gives them away to others not willing to do the hard work.

The frustrating fact is that the Democrats have always leaned toward communism. Just the seemingly innocent act of handing out “participation trophies” and having a “no winners” policy in children’s athletics is really an intentional act of sowing the seeds of communism. There is nothing more constructive than the feeling that you dominated you opponent because you trained harder and worked harder. Likewise, there is nothing more constructive in being the loser, and wanting to win, and knowing it’s only going to happen if you work and train harder. Both circumstances produce better people.

We have unfortunately gotten to the point where we actually have avowed Marxists, Socialists, and Communists running for and holding political offices because of weak politicians and lawmakers, that don’t have the stomach for protecting our national values. We had strong leaders and patriots in the 1950’s that would have never allowed Zohran Mamdani to hold the mayoral office in NYC. They would have ridden Tim Walz out of town on a rail. do you think in your wildest imagination a Muslim would have remotely considered running for President? Guess what, one sneaked in right in front of your eyes. You may have even been so enamored that you voted for him. Barack Hussien Obama isn’t a name with commonly associated with Anglo heritage.

People, I think anyone can see, how this is getting out of hand and needs to be dealt with decisively if this Republic is going to survive. Islam and the West will never be compatible, Islam wants to bring down the US and will work to that end with great effort. The Patriots need to work with superior effort to rid the US of Islam and the threat of Sheria law getting even the smallest foothold on this precious soil. Britain, France and Germany have already lost that battle, don’t let the USA be next.
