TWO STAPLES OF AMERICAN LIFESTYLE ARE GETTING MORE DIFFICULT TO ATTAIN.

The two staples I’m referring to are a home and a car. The prices of both have gone through the roof. OK, let’s discuss the price of a home first, in my opinion, I think this is the most important purchase you will make in your lifetime. If you pay attention to the housing market and buy and sell at the right time you will always come out on top. Barring any unusual circumstances of course. Over the course of my lifetime, I have made thousands of dollars buying and selling homes, then the last home I bought in California was a loser, I lost 90K and it was all my fault. I bought it new and waited too long to put it on the market waiting on my job to open up in another state. My new employer called and said we are ready for you; in the meantime the housing market had taken a serious nosedive. I had no choice I had to sell, and I took a beating. Over the next ten years the new house I purchased when I moved paid me back in spades. But man, that was a painful experience.

This is my advice if you want to own a home. Start early, buy something down and dirty cheap, even if you have to do a lot of repairs yourself to bring it up to par. You may have to live in a questionable area at first, but trust me, it will pay off. When I was 21 years old I was a union steel worker in Oklahoma. Not on the construction sites but in a shop so the pay wasn’t that great. Then a slight recession hit and I got laid off. Then I caught a break, my friends dad was a boss in my union and he sent me out on a construction job 200 miles from home. I rented a small house and spent as little money as possible to survive. Sent most of my check home to the bank every week. After five weeks of living as cheap as possible I had saved enough money to make a down payment on a small four room house in my hometown. When I was called back to work, I was able to make the purchase. I paid $7,000.00 for the house. 7K in 1961 is equivalent to $78,500.00 in today’s money. So 7K doesn’t sound like much, but it was a very scary purchase for me at the time.

I found out very quickly that once you buy the first house, they start making money for you, and you can move up to a better house pretty easily and quickly. I bought and sold thirteen homed during my lifetime, I did very well except for the last one in California. You would think I would have been smart enough to avoid that pitfall, but I got trapped by circumstances.

Yes, homes are over the top expensive today, but you can still get in the market, but you have to dance with a few ugly partners along the way. You have to be willing to drive a lackluster car and live in a dirt-cheap house to get to the gold at the end of the rainbow. It takes time, it takes sacrifice, there were times when I worked two jobs, and my wife worked as well, but in the end it paid off. It wasn’t any easier to do in 1961 even though the prices seem really low, but I was only making $2.35 per hour. That’s $94.00 a week. But I had the percentages in my favor my house payment was $56.00 per month. My house payment was roughly 15% of my monthly gross income. We actually had enough money to buy a very nice three-year-old car.

THE UBIQUITOUS AUTOMOBILE

The second item of major investment for the young family. Unless you live in an urban area where mass transit if dependable and cheap, you are probably going to need at least one unit of personal transportation. I absolutely refuse to live in a metro area; I hate the environment and the number of other human beings I would be exposed to on a daily basis. I’m getting worse about that as I age. I’m beginning to understand that hermit thing.

Automobiles have always been a status symbol, this was true almost from the very beginning. A very successful man wanted to be seen in a car that reflected his status in the world. Why do you think Mercedes Benz puts that big round emblem on the front their cars? That’s so everyone knows you’re doing well when they see you coming. It makes you want to buy their product so you can look rich.

Young people today, for the most part, have had a lot of life’s luxuries during their growing up years. Their parents made sure they had nice homes and all of the latest stuff so they could feel equal to their peers. What these youngsters don’t realize, is all of those little trinkets their parents provided are trivial in the real world. If they want the good stuff themselves, it’s a bit of a long road to get there, and they don’t want to wait. While living at home, they got to dress with all the lates fashions, wear the bling, and drive a nice car. All of this while not working. Once you step out of your parents house, you step into a cold unrelenting world. Too much debt to keep up the appearance, and they’re gonna crash and burn.

While a car may be a necessity for most people, it doesn’t have to be a Mercedes, it can be a 2003 Buick and still get you to your destination in reasonable comfort and safety. You may not look like a You Tube influencer, but hey, you’re working in the warehouse for Amazon.

So back to my original point of why it’s so important to buy a home. A luxury car can wait, a home is way more important. There will be plenty of time to obtain a fancy car once you’re a solid homeowner, building wealth every single day. A car doesn’t build wealth it destroys it.

THE BOTTOM LINE

I have lived in my present home, for 21 years, and my neighborhood has several rental houses. During this time I have seen several young families live by the plan I outlined above and become homeowners themselves. I watched them struggle to keep their cars running, the husband and wife both held down jobs while raising kids. They skipped most of the luxuries most take for granted. But hey, they’re no longer renters, and they are on their way to capture their part of the American Dream. Folks, it’s never changed, it’s always been about determination, hard work and sacrifice. If you’re not willing to do that, you’re probably going to vote for someone like Mamdani

Lazy people become Communists, they don’t want to do the hard work, they want to sit on their behinds and get handouts. When the lazy person hears everyone is going to be equal, they think they are going to live like the rich folk. In reality it’s the reverse of that, the rich people are going to have their toys confiscated and live like poor folk. In other words, everyone is going to be poor except the Party leaders that stole everyone’s wealth for themselves.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA

I’m pretty sure this is a first. I don’t think I ever wrote an article on the Fourth of July. Obviously, this one is pretty special. My wife was born in London and immigrated to the US in the 1980’s. She loves and appreciates this country more than a lot of native-born Americans. She knows what socialism is and how oppressive it is. She was born to a successful real estate developer and was able to tour the world before she was twenty years old. She toured the old Soviet Union, and she can tell you firsthand how dire the life was during those years for the Russian citizens. The English government she lived under was pretty terrible although it’s even worse now. So, when she hears someone talk positive about socialism, she gets very animated very quickly.

I was born and raised in the south-central US, and never had any desire to be a world traveler. I love this country and although having been twenty eight of the 50 states, I would not travel beyond the national borders until I have seen every single one of the fifty glorious states. Don’t feel sorry for me, I’m quite happy with my decisions and my love for my country. I’m not being totally truthful, I have visited our neighbors in Mexico and Canada. Mexico looks like California, and Canada looks like Washington and Oregon. Ho-hum.

I have heard the theory that certain behaviors and memories get passed down through genetics. Memories that are embedded in your being, but you can’t recall them voluntarily. I think that may be true. Many years ago, the first time I stood in the presence of a Scottish pipe and drum band, the hair stood up on the back of my neck and a strange feeling washed across my body. Years later, I discovered through my DNA that my heritage is 99% northern European which includes Scottish, Irish and English ancestry. My point is that this could also play a large part in my deep love for America as my family came from Essex, in London and landed on these shores in 1700. My family was here 75 years before the Declaration of Independence was written, 325 years ago. So, if the theory is true, and you do have embedded genetic memories, I have over three centuries worth to deal with.

PRESIDENT TRUMP KNOWS HOW TO THROW A PARTY.

Wow, I watched most of the festivities tonight, tuned in just a bit late. But the lead up to the President’s speech was phenomenal. His speech was phenomenal. I don’t know exactly how many celebrities refused to participate or who they were, but personally, I thought the show was much better without them. Celebrities always want to make everything about them; this was not the time and place for that. This was a time to celebrate our nation, as an American, with pride, humility and gratitude. The military performers were fabulous, totally perfect for the occasion. God bless these great people.

The Democrats did everything they could think of to sabotage the celebration. Instead of joining in as Americans and sharing this great moment, they chose to be jerks. Calling this “Donald Trump’s Party”, and they weren’t going to participate. Sounds a bit childish to me. President Trump wanted this to be special for all Americans. The only political statement I recall was his statement against communism, vowing that America would never be a communist nation.

Thank heavens the Democrats didn’t succeed. The entire show was awesome. How about that stage? Don’t think I’ve ever seen a more spectacular setting, but then again, it’s not ever going to be the 250th Anniversary again. The fireworks were over the top. The crowd was joyful, dancing to the music, and having great time. The promoters must have pre-screened the attendees, because I didn’t see a single whacko person. Thank God for that.

I have one more thing to say about the show tonight; Melania was gorgeous.

Going to wrap this up to tonight. My wife and I are extremely thankful for this wonderful country we live in. We are thankful for a President that loves America as much as we do. Sure, we have some problems we need to deal with, but we can do that. None the problems are worth killing each other over. We just need to work them out for the betterment of our country, so everyone’s life gets better, not worse. We need to make it possible for young folks to buy homes again, so young families can blossom. We need to get the America haters out of our educational system. We need educators that focus on the future of our youngsters, not some weird fantasy about 200 genders.

OK, where do I start? Let’s start with SCOTUS. That body of so-called super lawyers are turning out to be a reflection of a huge part of this nation, which is dumbshit braindead individuals lost in their own egotism. Wow, I amazed myself with that outburst of sarcasm. They just missed the chance to make this nation one hell of a lot stronger and buoy up the national pride, but no, they had to pander to the sniveling white liberals suffering from racial suicide complex. What a bunch of retards. Yeah, I used the R word and I’m damn happy to do so. If anyone has a problem with it, put it where the sun don’t shine, I’ve had enough of these dumb ass commies.

DEMOCRAT SOCIALISTS

Democrat Socialists is a synonym for Clusterfuck. I don’t know a better way to describe it. Take a look at all of the retards flapping their jaws about how great things are going to be when the state owns everything including you, they tell you when to eat, sleep, fornicate, and control every single aspect of your life. Everyone lives in same shitty apartments, and you get a bicycle for personal transportation or ride the state-run transit with every piece of shit person created whether you like it or not. You get your personal items doled out as they see fit. Forget about those bathroom cabinets full of cosmetics, you can’t afford them. Ain’t gonna be doing too many selfies nobody wants to see your ugly natural mug with the zits and pits.

So, when reality sets in you organize your friends and run out in the streets to protest. Lots of luck with that, they gonna beat your asses and throw you so far back in the slammer they have to pump air to you. You might get out someday if you’re lucky, but you’re gonna be tagged like a deer. Fuck up again and you might find yourself dead. Race ain’t gonna matter no more, everyone looks the same, poor and broken. Aint’ gonna be no more envy, nobody gonna have anything to envy. Wanna go boating, join the navy or take a ferry ride. My wife toured Russia when it was the Soviet Union back in the sixties, she can tell you exactly what it’s like. Their ain’t no troublemakers, the government will just disappear you. Wake up you fucking morons.

GAY PRIDE MONTH??

Why don’t they call it Perverted Scumbag Month? When you walk down the street in front of children with you dick swinging, or your muffin and tits bare, I don’t know what else to call it. Next month if some drunk guy walks down the street with his manhood dangling, they’re gonna throw his ass in jail. I accidentally found myself on Alaskan Way in Seattle when a naked bike ride materialized, it was the ugliest display of human anatomy I had ever seen. My God those people should have been arrested for terrorism. I’m telling you, the women in the naked bike ride would cause instant erectile dysfunction. This what the nations gets for it’s birthday, a bunch ugly perverted naked people parading around saying how proud they are to be mental basket cases.

STRAIGHT WHITE GUY PRIDE MONTH AT MY HOUSE.

Yep, I know it ain’t particularly popular in some circles but ask me if I care. I’m damn proud to be white, I love being a man, I love everything about being a man. I can build a car from scratch (I’ve done it), I can weld, I can build buildings, spent my life as a steel worker, I can fish, hunt, drive trucks, busses, and boats. You need it done, chances are I have done it and can still do it.

I worked every damn day of my life and provided a home, food, and transportation for my family. It was my job to do that; I was proud to do it. It made me happy to see my daughters in nice gowns when it was time for proms and school dances. I was proud of my family, I would have died protecting them, it was my responsibility, I signed up for it of my own free will.

I feel sorry for a man that doesn’t have the balls to step up and take his place in world that God intended for him to take. I had a Father that was a living breathing example of what it means to be a man; a husband, a provider, a protector, and mentor. Likewise, my Mom was the perfect example of a woman. She could do it all, and she did with energy and dedication for her family. She always put her family before herself. My mother and father were the salt of the earth individuals, genuine in every respect.

There are still people in this world exactly like this, they just don’t make a lot of noise. The people in gay pride parades are noisy, empty souls, that are useless in every sense. They are like weeds in your flower gardens.

Well, this article probably pissed off a few people, but I’m going to lay my body down very soon and go to sleep. I’m going to sleep well, because I’m a peace with who I am. If I’m not at peace with you, you’re likely some sort of moronic nutcase, or a Democrat.

NEWS COMMENTARY FROM A CENTER-RIGHT PERSPECTIVE, WITH SOME FLAG WAVING FOR GOOD MEASURE.

Trump loves to throw parties, and he threw a hell of big one this past weekend. I’m not much of a fight fan, I watch one now and again but it’s not one of my favorite sports. I like the fights that break out after an automobile race when some guy thinks he was cheated in some way. Those are always fun to watch. Don’t last long and typically, race car drivers are lousy fighters. But holy cow, what a production. The best part though, is that it thoroughly pissed off the lefties. I think Donald Trump’s main objective is to make sure whatever he does causes the left to go into an uncontrollable tailspin.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN IRAN? DO WE HAVE A PEACE DEAL?

I held my nose for about 10 minutes and watched Sean Hannity interview J.D. Vance this evening. I literally cannot stand to watch Hannity. Yeah, I know, he’s a staunch Trump supporter, loyal Republican, yada, yada, yada. But the guy drives me crazy with his self promotion, grandstanding, and repeating the same thing over and over and over.

That said, he and J.D. talked at length about the illusive peace deal with the craziest people on earth. J.D. insists that a deal has been struck, and the strait of Hormuz is now once again open. But he also said that it is only good as long as Iran keeps up their end of the bargain. So, I turned off Sean and tuned into Tousi TV to see what Mahyar has to say about it. Tousi TV seems to have the only realistic view on this craziness. Mahyar says that he is highly skeptical that any kind of solid deal has been reached. The IRGC hardliners are accusing the Iranian government leaders of treason if they make any type of concessions with the Americans. Every day, more IRGC leaders bite the dust in mysterious explosions and accidents. The infighting in Tehran is fierce at the moment, so I find it hard to believe there can any kind of meaningful agreements made. We will just have to wait and see. Obviously, someone believes it, gas prices are dropping in my neck of the woods fairly rapidly, and Wall Street is rebounding.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH AMERICA’S BLACK POPULATION? NOT LOOKING GOOD AT THE MOMENT.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, let me help you understand. All of this white privilege bullshit the left has been spewing is a smokescreen to hide the real problem….BLACK PRIVILEGE! What I am saying was put on full display last week when Karmelo Anthony was convicted of murder in the death of Austin Metcalf at a school track meet. Karmelo stabbed Austin Metcalf in the heart with a folding knife. Metcalf was unarmed. As we have heard thousands of times now from the legacy media “unarmed” is a major game changer. The seriousness of a killing is magnified times 100 if the victim was “unarmed”.

However, even though Metcalf was unarmed, they tried to paint Karmelo as being a victim in some unknown sense, going so far as to say his conviction was raciest. I don’t know about you, but if you take someone else’s life in a scenario such as this, you deserve the death penalty. At least life without the possibility of parole.

So here is the bottom line as I see it. Karmelo took Austin’s life. Took him from his family. Prevented Austin from having a family. Literally killed a branch of the family tree. For this heinous act, he got 35 years with the possibility of parole after 17 years. Karmelo’s act was race based; you can’t convince me otherwise. So, why wasn’t this viewed as hate crime. I thought hate crimes were serious shit.

My opinion is that Karmelo got off easy because the court was afraid of the fallout if he was dealt the sentence he really deserved. Have you ever heard of this being the case in the conviction of a white person? So, the next time someone mentions white privilege to me, my reaction will be strong, and swift. It will not be measured.

Because blacks are being handled with kid gloves in recent years, young blacks are taking to the streets and committing crimes of all sorts, knowing they are not likely to suffer any real and lasting consequences. This is a dangerous precedence for everyone involved. Innocent citizens get caught up in this, police officers get injured and killed, property losses are huge. The perpetrators themselves sometimes end up dead or seriously injured. The government and law enforcement have a difficult task ahead in bringing this lawlessness under control.

WHAT I AM SEEING AND HOW IT MAKES ME FEEL ABOUT MY COUNTRY RIGHT NOW

How I view the world was undoubtedly shaped by being born in 1941, watching my family and people around me deal with the seriousness of the most consequential war since the Revolutionary War. Then living through the social revolution of the sixties and seventies. People of my age group, have a mindset like no other. That said, we are disappearing daily from old age, and old age-related diseases. If you are part of a high school alumni group that you keep in touch with, you are very aware of your mortality.

I created the picture above because it is very indicative of the place where I grew up. What you see in the picture are people, mostly of European descent, gathered peacefully, expressing their love for our great nation, their families and communities. The only freak shows you saw in those days were the ones that came to town with the carnivals.

I’m not naive, there have always been people who were “different” and gay folks have been around since the beginning of time. When I was growing up, gays, lesbians and otherwise strange folk kept a low profile, it was not a good idea to be too open, it could be dangerous. So, there were always people that you would consider a sub-culture, even though on the surface it all looked serene and peaceful.

So, by now, you are probably asking, what is the point. My point is, although all of the same stuff was going on then, that is going on now, the mainstream culture made it clear what it would tolerate and what it wouldn’t. I absolutely do not condone violence against others, but in order for a society to exist in a peaceful and orderly manner, restraint must be exercised by everyone. The majority of society did not agree with the alternative life styles, didn’t want their children exposed to it. The folks that lived the alternative lives, needed to be aware of that, and respect the majorities wishes. That is the formula for people of different stripes to coexist. Simple. Key word “respect”.

RESPECT; NOT MUCH OF IT LEFT

Let’s start at the bottom and work our way up to understand what has happened to that wonderful word “respect”. It all starts in the family home, that is the birthplace of respect. It starts with the parents. The mom and dad have a solemn duty to exhibit respect for each other, along with expressing their love for one another. They must make certain the offspring respect and show their love for one another as well. Love and respect are the most important lessons children can be taught. It determines the way they treat others they come in contact with, in the future. Secondly, and equally important is the respect for authority. The children need to be aware that mom and dad are in charge, period, not debatable. Parents need to stand firm from the time the child is born until that child leaves home. This is the formula for raising children that are able to navigate life more successfully. A parent’s weakness in exhibition of authority, creates problems later, that can be impossible to deal with.

Schools in my day were rife with authority figures. If you got out of line at school, you were punished in any number of ways, plus you had to answer to your parents. You were hit with a “double whammy”. Not a pleasant experience. When you were graded for your work, it was an honest grade. If you weren’t performing your work, you received a failing grade. Another experience that you didn’t want to go through. Also, if you failed, your peers looked down on you, another unpleasant experience. So, if you wanted to be able to walk with your head held high, you towed the line. Another valuable lesson for living a successful life.

Then, sometime in the sixties, a horrible thing happened. The traditional family started to disappear, and they went soft on the kiddos. That was the beginning of the end for respect. It was all downhill after that. The pictures below are the result.

So, this is all the result of failed families, failed public education, failed institutions of higher learning and failing to hold people accountable for their actions. The inmates have taken over the asylum. I don’t give a rat’s ass what you are, who you sleep with, what you do with your genitals, just keep it to yourself. I don’t give a rat’s ass if you’re a vegan, or a vegetarian. I ain’t none of those things, and I ain’t never gonna be any of those things. So don’t try to sell me on the fact that you’re somehow superior to me, a straight white, Christian male. Keep that shit to yourselves.

I respect my fellow man, and try my best not to be offensive and disrespectful of my neighbor. I respect everyone’s property, their rights to be who and what they are. Just don’t burden me with your mental illness bullshit.

We are living in the best damn country on the planet you are given the right to be who and what you want to be. In spite of this, we have a growing number of folks that express extreme hatred for the nation and 95% of its inhabitants. I sincerely believe if you feel this way, you need to pack up your shit and find somewhere else to live. I’m totally happy here, and you are causing me to be unhappy seeing your sorry asses. I can say this with absolute pride, my family took up residence in America in 1700 and we have been here ever since. Old glory is my flag, United States is my home. I might be 85 years old but I’m still a damn good shot, and I’m willing to defend the Republic and all of its glory. If you don’t like it, you can kiss my old wrinkly ass.

RIGHT MINDED COMMENTARY

I finally found my way back to my keyboard. I have spent the past several weeks working on my landscaping after 21 years of mediocre maintenance. I told my wife brace yourself, this is gonna cost some serious money to resuscitate the front and rear gardens. We still aren’t finished, we now have to visit Lowes and spend some more hard earned cash on flowers and shrubs to replace the ones we ripped out. But we are getting lots of compliments for our efforts. However, none of those folks are offering to chip in and help with the expense. Enough with the whining, let’s get on with the article.

TAXES, TAXES, TAXES

This topic has so many facets, I’m not sure I can cover everything I am feeling about this topic. Which is mostly anger, mixed with utter disappointment, and curiosity as to why Donald Trump and his band of merrymen are the only ones seriously talking about tax reform. Every state on the west coast where I have spent the bulk of my life on this planet, are literally tax addicts. The state governments of the three west coast states are taxing folks into the poor house. People are squealing like trapped pigs and they don’t care.

The State of Orgon puts a tax measure on the ballot and the crazy ass Oregon Democrats vote for it. I have lived here 21 years and have never seen a tax measure fail to pass. I literally want to pull my hair out every single time. On the other hand, we have mail in ballots, so one can’t be too sure that it’s on the up and up.

So, why does the federal government and state and city governments need so much of our money? My house is about 2,300 sq. ft on a small city lot, and Marion county thinks I need to pay $6,000.00 per year for the privilege of owning my house. So, basically the county is charging me rent to live in my own house. The city where I live has a population of about 200,000 souls. Roughly about 52,000 single family homes. Just for property taxes alone that’s somewhere around 26 million dollars per year. That’s just for residential dwellings, not counting commercial businesses. The school district operates on a yearly budget of over one billion dollars a year, and can barely produce a literate graduate. The schools never stop begging for money and can’t show any improvement in the education of the students.

Our state roads and highways are better than a number of states I have driven across, but they could be one hell of a lot better. The state is always coming up with more creative ways to pick our pockets for the highway systems. I have heard a lot of chatter in recent years about toll roads. Give me a break, toll roads? Cut out some of the freebies and welfare to able bodied adults and fix the dang roads. We have a fleet of school busses that is massive. Why the hell can’t kids walk to school anymore? Half the kids at the bus stops are fat little rascals, it would be good for ’em. The cost of operating our school bus fleet must be close the defense budget for the feds.

TAX FRAUD

Stop and ask yourself why tax fraud is so rampant. It’s really quite simple. Anytime the government makes a huge amount of money available for any project, the fraudsters come out of every crack and crevice like cock roaches. They know from experience that the government just can’t wait to give that money away, because it makes them the flavor of the month, and it ain’t their money. The realization that the fraud is in the tens of billions of dollars should cause everyone to immediately surmise that we are being seriously overtaxed. You wanna know how I know this? Because the fraud was discovered because it was becoming so blatantly apparent, not because the government was running out of money. Medicare and Medicaid are not going broke due to normal everyday healthcare; they are being gutted by fraudsters. Are you worried your sick family member won’t be able to get hospice care in their final days? You should be, the money is going to build Nigerian mansions, inhabited by rich Somalians.

Local state politicians make it easy for the fraudsters (often illegal aliens) or green card holders to bilk the system, and in turn the fraudsters kick back a portion of that money to the Democrat politician, and it ends up in the coffers of the DNC. This system does not remain static, it grows like a malignant cancer. It’s just another iteration of the NGO’s. The federal government officials are actively involved in robbing the taxpayers. That makes me sick to my stomach that the feds can take everything I own for tax evasion, while they literally wasted the money I gave them in good faith. So, tell me again just how free we are. The freedom thing may be a little overstated.

CENTER-RIGHT NEWS ANALYSIS

Those of you that subscribe to my blog know that I have been involved in establishing a You Tube channel thus, my blogging has slowed down a bit. It has been a challenge, likely due to my age. I think a younger person that has been steeped in the cyber world since birth finds it much easier. That hasn’t stopped me from staying on top of the news. It has had another effect I didn’t count on. I have been able to see things with a bit more clarity. Events I may have missed before, caught my attention.

I have noticed (I’m sure you have as well) The left is becoming more and more unhinged. They are dressing up in inflatable costumes, creating impromptu singing groups that sound absolutely horrible. Also, I am shocked at the age of some of these characters engaged in this nonsense. That said, the level of hatred these people are exhibiting and verbalizing is sort of scary. They don’t seem to have any reservations about who they attack, the aged, disabled people, it’s pretty crazy.

This story was on the news the day it happened; I didn’t really pay a lot of attention to it then I started to think about it. In Honolulu’s Waikiki neighborhood, a guy posing as an ICE agent (not an actual ICE officer) was attacked and seriously injured by a group of young people. This is clear evidence that some of these younger people, are blood thirsty assholes. When you are willing to stomp someone that is on the ground, kick them in the head, do all sorts of other things to seriously hurt or kill them you are a Bonafide head case. This attitude is equally present in females as well as males. Fortunately, the guy was able to walk away, but it could have ended up very badly. Click on the link below to see the You Tube report.

This opens up another whole dialog. Total disdain for law enforcement. How did this happen? I think all of you probably know the answer, but let’s discuss it. This really began a long time ago. During the 1960’s a cultural revolution happened all across the United States. The “hippie” craze caught on like throwing gasoline on a fire. Youngsters all across the country rebelled against authority. If the “hippie” movement had a motto, it would have been “resist authority”, and during this timeframe is when they started calling police “pigs”. I lived in southern California during the 1960’s and witnessed it personally. I traveled to San Francisco to see the spectacle, drove through Golden Gate park the height of it all. Folks, it was pretty ugly. Make no mistake, it’s all a product of the left.

I have been a cancer victim several times in my life so I have gained some knowledge of how it works. Fortunately, the colon cancer was caught very early, and I got away with losing about eight inches of my colon and my lymph glands. That was 17 years ago, no recurring problems. However, I am plagued with skin cancer (white privilege) so I get to see how cancer grows. It starts with one small cell and grows tentacles, reaching out into the surrounding flesh. If it goes unchecked you could lose the whole limb, or nose or ear or whatever. The socialism cell starts in colleges and universities, and the students that buy into it, become the tentacles that reach out and start to destroy the communities. University of California at Berkely has produced some of the most infamous examples of this. If you never heard of the “Symbionese Liberation Army”, look it up. The group were Berkley students.

Of course, none of this would work without some sort of media outlet to spread the word. Well guess what? All of the reporters and executives, and producers at legacy media are all college graduates, and all lefties. Also, most major newspapers follow the same left leaning path. The socialists get totally free propaganda distribution.

Another factor that drives socialism the money it generates. Have you ever noticed how many large corporations donate big money to activist groups? In defense of corporations, I’m not sure if they even know much about these nonprofits, they use for tax breaks. Have you seen the names these socialists use? Super deceptive and stealth. They choose names that deliberately make you think they are engaged in activities that are 100% opposed to what they are really doing. Lying in the Islamic world is encouraged if it promotes your agenda. I think this is why Democrats seem to cozy up with Islam. Birds of a feather. Do I need to mention Minnesota? The George Soros activist organization is called the “Open Society Foundation”. Sounds pretty harmless huh? Not so much bubba.

It’s getting late, and this old man is getting tired. Folks, the world is getting decidedly more dangerous on your own home turf. WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON?

I’ve had some lapses in content production before, sickness, surgery, and so on. This time it’s totally self-inflicted. I have started a new project, and it has been very difficult to learn, it’s a whole different world than writing a blog. I have started a You Tube channel. I will tell you how to see it, but before I do that, allow me to explain what is one of the most difficult aspects. I sit here and write this blog and obviously there is no script, I am just saying what is on my mind. The major difference is; I can stop, think about what I want to say, weigh several different approaches and then resume writing. You can’t do that talking to a camera, and I have found out, I write much better than talk totally “off the cuff”. I’m getting better but have a ways to go. I guess I feel compelled to tell you this so you will have some level of compassion for my less than stellar performance.

My blogs for the most part have been based on current events in the news, and I wanted to do something different. I wanted my You Tube channel to be more about fun stuff, not grimacing about the overabundance of half-wits in our government that unfortunately have a large impact on our lives. Those things are still of great interest to me, and I will continue to write about them on this site, but I have to take break and get my channel up and running.

MORE CALIFORNIA CRAZINESS

I can tell you from experience that this is not anything new. I moved to southern California in 1963; it was a virtual paradise. As a kid we watched the Disney productions on TV and got to see Disneyland in Anaheim on the small screen. The first time I saw it with my own eyes was pure magic. But we have to back up a moment. I was an Oklahoma kid, and when we approached Disneyland, the streets were lined with palm trees and gorgeous flowers. It was truly a magnificent thing to see for me.

I was so taken aback by the beauty and the fabulous Pacific Ocean, I moved my wife and two little kids to California two years later. It was totally exciting. However when you become a resident and not a visitor, you start noticing what is going on behind the scenes pretty quickly. In the sixties it was a pretty freewheeling lifestyle. Slowly things began to change. We had to start buying “greenie stickers” for our dirt bikes in order to ride them on public lands. Then later, if you drove a pickup which most young guys did, if you bought a standard license plate, the same as an automobile, you were only allowed to carry groceries or household supplies. Anything more than that, you were required to have commercial truck plates. Over the next twenty years it just got worse with regulations and restrictions. You had to have a license for almost anything you did.

Working in construction as a steel worker, the Los Angeles building department inspectors were tough cookies. They had rules and regulations for just about everything you did. The Los Angeles County Building Code was considered the best. A lot of cities adopted that code for their own all across the nation. Even back in that day in time, California was regarded as one of the most well-regulated states in the USA. They just didn’t know when to quit.

REGULATED TO THE POINT OF PARALYSIS

California, Oregon, Washington have been dominated by Democrat super majorities in their state houses and governors’ mansions for as long as I can remember. This is definitely a bad thing. Effective government must have a balance of power. It’s no secret Democrats govern based more on ideology than a fair and balanced approach, in respect for those that may disagree with them. I’m going out on a limb here, but I seriously doubt that any Democrat anywhere at any time said,” maybe we should consider the conservatives on this issue”.

I happen to love the construction industry, because I like to be part of building and creating things. Even at my advanced age, I still work as an estimator and project manager from my home office. I find the business exciting and challenging. I see and read the project documents as part of my job. I just finished a bid on an aircraft hangar for the base in Fort Richardson, AK. The specifications contain 2,849 pages for one hangar for three helicopters. When our crews go on a job site, we have so many hoops to jump through its ridiculous. Everything your crew does while they are on site is highly scrutinized. It has added so much hidden expense to our operation that we can’t budget for. If an OSHA officer is around and one of your workers makes a mistake, you will be fined. God help you if you have an accident.

All of those regulations I spoke about earlier are on full display in Los Angeles. The Pacific Palisades fire was over a year ago and only a small percentage of the homes destroyed have been rebuilt. Why? Building permits, licenses’, environmental regulations, the list never stops. The builders can’t get past the L.A. Building Dept.

Cities, states, and counties have regulated the building industry to the point of paralysis. You wonder why homes are so expensive? Look no further than your local building department and state regulators. It is literally a nightmare for real, taking months to make even a small amount of progress. I see plans come across my desk all the time that were completed 12 to 18 months ago, and have just made it past the city building dept. We seriously need to shut all of these regulatory offices down and start over fresh. (like that will ever happen)

THE NIGHT HAS A MILLION EYES

There is an old saying that the “night has a thousand eyes” implying that your bad deeds are going to be seen by someone regardless of how careful or clever you think you are. The number of eyes in the night has grown into millions in recent years with the advent of mobile phones. Even the smallest event gets captured on someone’s phone camera. If that event is deemed important enough, could end up on the 10:00 pm news.

This is why I love the internet. There are millions of people watching virtually everything happening in the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And these people are driven by wanting to claim their 15 minutes of fame. So, I guess in reality we live in a world of innumerable snitches. That doesn’t seem to be a bad thing to me, because we live in a world of innumerable people doing illegal things. Let’s face facts, laws seem to be viewed as mere suggestions these days.

Over the past few decades, the legacy media have become the mouthpiece of the leftists. Just about everything they say is either very biased or outright lies. A huge number of Americans have now realized this and are turning to alternative news sources on the internet. I am one of those people. I am constantly perusing the internet looking for stories that aren’t being covered by the mainstream media. I discovered a reporter that goes by the name of George A.A. I became aware of “Act Blue” within the past six or eight months. You don’t have to be super smart to realize very quickly what this is all about. I urge you to research it and let your congressman know you are concerned about Act Blue’s activities. Of course, in my case, I live in a blue state, my congressman is part of the problem.

I think we are in for one hell of ride considering we just captured the President of Venezuela a few hours ago, and Iran is on the edge of collapse, the government likely to fall within the next 72 hours. Russia just lost its supplier of kamikaze drones and other ammunitions. Trump is on the move.
