CENTER-RIGHT NEWS ANALYSIS

Those of you that subscribe to my blog know that I have been involved in establishing a You Tube channel thus, my blogging has slowed down a bit. It has been a challenge, likely due to my age. I think a younger person that has been steeped in the cyber world since birth finds it much easier. That hasn’t stopped me from staying on top of the news. It has had another effect I didn’t count on. I have been able to see things with a bit more clarity. Events I may have missed before, caught my attention.

I have noticed (I’m sure you have as well) The left is becoming more and more unhinged. They are dressing up in inflatable costumes, creating impromptu singing groups that sound absolutely horrible. Also, I am shocked at the age of some of these characters engaged in this nonsense. That said, the level of hatred these people are exhibiting and verbalizing is sort of scary. They don’t seem to have any reservations about who they attack, the aged, disabled people, it’s pretty crazy.

This story was on the news the day it happened; I didn’t really pay a lot of attention to it then I started to think about it. In Honolulu’s Waikiki neighborhood, a guy posing as an ICE agent (not an actual ICE officer) was attacked and seriously injured by a group of young people. This is clear evidence that some of these younger people, are blood thirsty assholes. When you are willing to stomp someone that is on the ground, kick them in the head, do all sorts of other things to seriously hurt or kill them you are a Bonafide head case. This attitude is equally present in females as well as males. Fortunately, the guy was able to walk away, but it could have ended up very badly. Click on the link below to see the You Tube report.

This opens up another whole dialog. Total disdain for law enforcement. How did this happen? I think all of you probably know the answer, but let’s discuss it. This really began a long time ago. During the 1960’s a cultural revolution happened all across the United States. The “hippie” craze caught on like throwing gasoline on a fire. Youngsters all across the country rebelled against authority. If the “hippie” movement had a motto, it would have been “resist authority”, and during this timeframe is when they started calling police “pigs”. I lived in southern California during the 1960’s and witnessed it personally. I traveled to San Francisco to see the spectacle, drove through Golden Gate park the height of it all. Folks, it was pretty ugly. Make no mistake, it’s all a product of the left.

I have been a cancer victim several times in my life so I have gained some knowledge of how it works. Fortunately, the colon cancer was caught very early, and I got away with losing about eight inches of my colon and my lymph glands. That was 17 years ago, no recurring problems. However, I am plagued with skin cancer (white privilege) so I get to see how cancer grows. It starts with one small cell and grows tentacles, reaching out into the surrounding flesh. If it goes unchecked you could lose the whole limb, or nose or ear or whatever. The socialism cell starts in colleges and universities, and the students that buy into it, become the tentacles that reach out and start to destroy the communities. University of California at Berkely has produced some of the most infamous examples of this. If you never heard of the “Symbionese Liberation Army”, look it up. The group were Berkley students.

Of course, none of this would work without some sort of media outlet to spread the word. Well guess what? All of the reporters and executives, and producers at legacy media are all college graduates, and all lefties. Also, most major newspapers follow the same left leaning path. The socialists get totally free propaganda distribution.

Another factor that drives socialism the money it generates. Have you ever noticed how many large corporations donate big money to activist groups? In defense of corporations, I’m not sure if they even know much about these nonprofits, they use for tax breaks. Have you seen the names these socialists use? Super deceptive and stealth. They choose names that deliberately make you think they are engaged in activities that are 100% opposed to what they are really doing. Lying in the Islamic world is encouraged if it promotes your agenda. I think this is why Democrats seem to cozy up with Islam. Birds of a feather. Do I need to mention Minnesota? The George Soros activist organization is called the “Open Society Foundation”. Sounds pretty harmless huh? Not so much bubba.

It’s getting late, and this old man is getting tired. Folks, the world is getting decidedly more dangerous on your own home turf. Stay alert, stay active in your community, and work for safer streets by supporting law enforcement. God Bless you all, God Bless our president and the United States of America.

THEY LIE, THEY CHEAT, THEY STEAL OUR HARD-EARNED MONEY !

They, are the Democrats. Trumps second term is flushing them out like rats. Like rats in a corner, they are trying desperately to defend themselves. But their graft and corruption is being exposed almost weekly. Corruption in government is present no matter where you are on the planet, but the Democrats have taken it to a new level in the United States.

My taxes are over the top. I have a nice home, not a mansion by any means, and a yearly income that could be categorized as slightly above the median level. Let just say, when I die, I won’t be leaving a fortune for my survivors to fight over. Over the years the feds have stripped away virtually all of the smaller taxpayer deductions such as interest on credit cards and personal debt. Since I no longer have any dependents other than my wife, and no home mortgage, tax time is a killer. It doesn’t help I live in Oregon which is one of the heaviest taxed states.

Think about this for a moment or two. There appears to be an abundance of money laying around for the fraudsters to glom onto, and the local governments don’t seem to be having difficulty funding day to day business. This leads me to believe we are being taxed far too much. The governments, federal down to the cities, should be the ones scraping for money not the taxpayers. There wouldn’t be any corruption and fraud if the government was constantly on the verge of bankruptcy. They would be paying one hell of a lot more attention to the dollars.

THE HOMELESS DEBACLE, MY PET PEEVE.

This problem has been going on for 40 or 50 years and it’s not getting any better. So, how can politicians continue to tell you with straight face, they are able to solve difficult problems. Politicians are the only people in the world that fail at their job in a spectacular fashion and get rehired for another term. Drive down the backstreets on any major city and you will find tents, lean-tos, old clapped out RV’s, piles of trash and garbage, syringes scattered about, and filth.

This seems like a very serious problem to me. My boss calls it “socio discrimination”. The governments allow the homeless to pollute on a horrific level, while fining people with money for seemingly minor infractions in comparison.

Why do cities allow this to go on in perpetuity? Because it’s a cash cow. Not being well versed in all of the available money programs, I asked Google;

Yes, cities receive federal dollars to address homelessness through various programs, primarily from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Funds are distributed through programs like the Continuum of Care (CoC), which supports local planning and homelessness services, and through block grants like the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Solutions Grants. Other agencies like the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) also provide disaster-related relief funding for homeless populations. 

Key federal programs for homelessness

  • Continuum of Care (CoC): This is a major source of funding, distributed to local CoCs to coordinate and fund a wide range of homelessness services, including permanent and transitional housing, case management, and homelessness prevention.
  • Community Development Block Grant (CDBG): This program provides funds to local governments for community development projects, including those that address housing and homelessness.
  • Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG): This program provides grants to help communities respond to homelessness, including funding for emergency shelters and street outreach.
  • Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8): This program provides rental assistance to low-income families and individuals, helping them secure and maintain housing.
  • HUD-VASH: This is a collaboration between HUD and the Department of Veterans Affairs that provides rental assistance to homeless veterans.
  • FEMA funding: During emergencies or disasters, FEMA provides funding to state and local governments to help the homeless population, such as through emergency shelter and other related services. 

There is your answer as to why the homeless problem is likely not going away. An audit in California in 2019 could not account for 2.3 billion dollars. They had no idea what the money was spent on or track its effectiveness. I have a good idea where it went, how about you?

I asked Google about California’s infamous “Bullet Train”. This was the answer;

As of late 2024, California’s high-speed rail project has spent approximately $13.8 billion to $15 billion, out of a total projected cost that now ranges from $100 billion to $140 billion. The project has faced significant cost overruns, funding uncertainties, and has had federal funding revoked, though California is contesting this and has other funding commitments in place. 

Current spending and cost

  • Total spent: Between $13.8 billion and $15 billion has been spent, according to various reports from 2024 and 2025.
  • Total projected cost: The projected cost for the full Phase 1 (Los Angeles to San Francisco) is now estimated to be between $100 billion and $140 billion, significantly higher than the initial $33 billion bond measure approved in 2008.
  • Initial segment cost: The cost for the 171-mile initial segment in the Central Valley is now estimated at up to $35 billion, exceeding the original estimate for the entire system. 

Funding status and challenges

  • Federal funding: The federal government terminated approximately $4 billion in grant funding in mid-2025, citing concerns about the project’s management and timeline.
  • State funding: The project has received billions in state funding, and legislators have approved additional funding in the past.
  • Funding gap: A significant “unfunded gap” exists for the full system, estimated to be between $92.6 billion and $103.1 billion as of early 2024.
  • Current funding agreements: California is challenging the federal funding withdrawal and has new state funding agreements in place, though the long-term financial stability of the project is still a concern. 

Gavin Newsome earns $242,295.00 per year as California’s governor. He just purchased a house in a very nice neighborhood on Sausalito for a reported nine million dollars. Chew on that for a while and see if it makes sense to you. I’m just saying, when there are billions of tax dollars floating around nobody can account for, I start getting suspicious when politicians buy multi-million-dollar homes.

I think it’s the proper time to quote Harry S. Truman (aka”give ’em hell Harry”) “Show me a man that got rich by being a politician, and I’ll show you a crook”.
