ONE OF HISTORY’S BIGGEST MYSTERIES

This website is like my smartphone. I put it on the charger and pick it up the next morning and don’t recognize it. It looks different, it responds differently, I never know what I’m going to get. Not more than two weeks ago I was watching TV with my phone sitting on the table beside my recliner and it came alive, lights flashing, and asked me if it was OK to update the software. I said sure, I’m watching one of my favorite car builders hard at work, I don’t give a damn what my phone wants to do. The next day my phone didn’t ring once. I started getting calls on my land line (yep, still got one of those) and my wife was getting calls asking if I was OK. I had to go to AT&T to get the dang thing working again. They actually had to reboot it and reset everything. I was pissed about that for about two more days.

Although how my so-called smart phone works is not the mystery I am referring to. I’m referring to why in the hell it took so long for the United States to finally kick Iran’s sorry ass into the next century. This question takes me back a few years when I was visiting a wonderful Aircraft Museum that houses some fabulous examples of World War 2 warbirds. When possible (it’s becoming more and more rare) they have really old guys that actually flew these relics, sitting in front of them talking to the patrons and answering questions about the aircraft and what it was like flying them. This particular day, they had a P38 Lightning on display, and one of the pilots that flew them out of England into Germany. Side note here; he was seventeen at the time. Pretty incredible. In our conversation he mentioned that over the years he had become an anti-war advocate. He explained that the reason for that, was the United States had forgotten how to win a war and were simply sacrificing soldiers with no intention of winning the war. Those words never left my memory, as I watched that scenario played out in Iraq, and Afghanistan. They come back to me every time I see a TV ad for Wounded Warriors, or Tunnels to Towers. Joe Biden and the half-wit Democrats even left our equipment behind while running away like scared dogs with their tales between their legs.

Every U.S. President has been derelict in dealing with this problem since Jimmy Carter. The great Ronald Regan failed to properly address it. This problem has grown and festered and gotten thousands of American killed over the past 47 years. There was simply no good reason to simply ignore it. However, the real and unforgettable stain on the great soul of The United States of America, was put there by Barrack Husein Obama. He bowed to the evil and murderous Ayatollah Khomeini. Then to make it worse he sent them pallets of cash in the amount of 1.7 Billion dollars as ransom to free American prisoners. This money came from taxpayer funds to pay legal settlements. They say a person’s actions speak louder than words. Obama’s actions tell me he is a closet Muslim, When he bowed to Khomeini, he officially denied his American citizenship and abdicated his office of the POTUS. I will always look at him with disdain as the great American traitor, a hundred times worse than Benedict Arnold. When I look at him, he makes me feel physically ill.

Thank God for Donald J. Trump. It feels good again to be an American, we can hold our heads up high, with pride, the glorious RED, WHITE and BLUE shines bright above the horizon once again. I feel confident that America will be victorious in this war, and the threat of the evil regime in Iran will be obliterated for good. I’m confident Trump and his administration will see this through to the end and not slink away in the night to let the snake rise again.

Make no mistake, the war against Islam is heating up. The dreaded ideology needs to be erased from our culture, it is like a cancer, it spreads and brings with it, death and destruction wherever it resides. If America allows it to grow inside of our borders, we will eventually fall prey to its evil intentions. All you need to do is look at what is happening in Europe, and England. Their countries are being decimated by this evil ideology. Stand strong, don’t let this happen to America. We are a Christian Nation, that is what has made America strong, that is what will keep America strong.

CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S ONLY TWO WEEKS TO CHRISTMAS. SEEMS A LITTLE CRAZY.

There is some sort of phenomenon going on. All of my friends are saying the same thing; “where did the time go”? Seems like summer was just a few weeks ago. As I was pondering this a few days ago, I wondered if that is the reason I’m not really in the Christmas spirit. I’m not, I don’t wanna hear Christmas songs, I’m not ready for that. I usually do a lot of yard decorations, but not this year. Put the lights up on the lower roof line and I’m done. The wife put a big Christmas wreath on the front door, I think it looks just right. Inside the house is different, my wife loves to decorate the inside, and it looks lovely.

All of kids are grown, and live in faraway places. So, we rarely see our grandkids and great grandkids. I think it’s the little ones that really put you in the Christmas mood. That’s just kind of how it is when your over eighty.

In reality, I think it’s the retailers that are the driving force for all of the Christmas hype. That’s OK, that’s the American way. Some say this is not even the month Jesus was born, it was April (or something like that). If Jesus was born in April that’s good because I would share his birth month. Can’t think of a better person to share a birthday month with. The Roman Church chose the date of December 25th as Christ’s birthday, which no one actually knows. It was an arbitrary decision by the clergy. Lot of that stuff went on in the early days of religion. Oops, got off track a little.

None of this stuff about how and why Christmas is celebrated the way it is, is really important. What is important is that you take this time set aside to celebrate the Savior’s birth and put him especially close to your heart during the holidays. Let God know how thankful you are for his birth and resurrection, so that you can return to his presence, and reside in paradise for eternity.

STARTING OVER

I actually started writing this blog eight days ago, and wasn’t happy with the way it was progressing. I felt like I was repeating myself for the umpteenth time. So, l just parked it, and per my usual routine, kind of semi paid attention to what was going on in the news. While I’m watching people protesting, and demonstrating against law enforcement, I started wondering to myself why they have such blatant disregard for law and order, and a completely convoluted view of America.

When I start thinking about this subject, an incident from the past always comes to the forefront of my mind. The United States of America was once a much more righteous nation than it is today. Hollywood has been hanging on the edge of creating smut for the masses since the beginning. Enter Mae West. The character of Mae West is what you would imagine the madam of the local house of ill repute to be. Her performances didn’t sit well with the Christian leaders of the day. A delegation of Christian ministers visited the Hollywood studios and demanded they tone down the rhetoric. Hollywood caved, immediately. They got the message loud and clear. Imagine how quickly the smut mongers would have taken movies down to the pornography level if the Christian right had not stepped in. Hollywood eventually got there, because the Christian right didn’t follow up and keep the heat on.

You may think of it as a small thing, but trust me, it was not small thing. The people behind the curtailment of the Pledge of Allegiance and reciting the Lord’s Prayer in public schools knew exactly what they were doing. They were consciously disconnecting the youngsters from God and patriotism. They two biggest enemies of communism. And, once again, the Christian right did nothing. Not a single blow was thrown.

Good ol’ rock and roll music. Nobody likes it better than me. It was born when I was a teenager and holy smoke, what a ride. Elvis, Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, c’mon man, it was gooood times. Then came the sixties and the smut mongers know good thing when they see it. The music slowly digressed into glorifying drugs, sex, and lots of hidden messages. It has been going downhill ever since. Watching rock performers today is ugly. No other words to describe it. Smiley Virus makes me wanna puke. Black musicians are even worse. It’s not music, it’s soft porn. I’m not seeing any push back from anyone anymore, the Christian right has completely capitulated.

There has been a slow dwindling of the numbers of people attending Sunday services for years. A big part of the problem is the dwindling of two parent families. I would imagine that a single parent is pretty exhausted by the time Sunday comes around and getting everyone dressed and off to church is not a high priority. On the surface it seems like sort of a benign problem, but it’s far from it. Religion is one of the single most important things in a young person’s life for many reasons. It teaches humility, respect for others, respect for one’s self, and obedience to the laws of God and man. Religion is an essential building block for a strong society and nation. I’m not seeing too many Christians trying to sell God’s plan. (Charlie was hard at it, let’s see how many take up the baton)

Public school boards were infiltrated with left leaning folks years ago and started the transition from traditional education to what we are seeing today. The older teachers started retiring sometime around the 1960’s and were being replaced by the young progressives just out of college. It was the beginning of the perfect storm about to devastate education. All of the things I spoke about above combined with the progressive mindset of educators has not turned out well. We have a whole generation or two of entitled people who think they are special, and the rules don’t apply to them. So, once again, where were the conservative Christians that could have been raising hell and shouting, and putting up a good fight?

When you hear someone say; ” we have to have a two party system to maintain a balance.” My reply is, that’s true as long as both parties are willing to debate and fight for that balance. If one side is sitting on it’s collective behind and not paying attention (talking about Republicans here) they aren’t really that viable are they? I have personally witnessed the apathy on the conservative side. (Mitt Romney come to mind) In my opinion they deserve a damn good portion of blame when discussing the current state of our nation. You damn sure can’t say the Democrats have been sitting on their behinds, they had a plan and executed it pretty darn well. Right down to rigging the 2020 election in a spectacular fashion. They did it so well they were able to elect a person that was mentally unfit from day one, then covered it up for four years, while doing everything in their power to destroy the nation and the Republican party.

Thanks to Donald J. Trump and the MAGA Republicans we have awakened a force to be reckoned with. We are now giving Dems a taste of their own medicine, and they are having a very hard time swallowing it. It will take a very long time to undo the damage that two- and one-half terms of Obama has done to this nation and it’s good citizens. Let’s hope we can wrangle two more presidential terms with J.D. Vance and keep the momentum going. In the meantime, do whatever you’re able to do the further the cause, to break the backs of the leftist who have done so much damage to our beloved nation.
