Admittedly, I am a Trump supporter, voted for him the first time and plan on voting for him again. However, this article is not specifically about Donald Trump, it’s about the acute awareness of the bad actors that his presence has brought forth. My wife and I have spoken many times about this. All of the vast amount of corruption, lies and deceit were unknown until this man came on the scene. It’s almost as if he was the catalyst that caused all of these swamp creatures to rear their evil heads in defense of their domain. Let’s face it, they are currently in a hyper state, doing unbelievable things, like trying to usurp local laws, and even the constitution itself to stop him from running for office. They are literally in some type of frenzied fit.

His presence has laid bare the Washington D.C. uni-party, a body of lawmakers that have no interest in working for anyone other than themselves. The United States government is now in self-preservation mode, willing to mow down anyone that stands in its way. January 6th, is my evidence in this matter. The government orchestrated the riot, participated in it, then had a fake hearing to gloss it over and give it validity. There are so many independent journalists that continue to dig into this, and uncover more and more evidence, the American people will eventually accept the truth over the lies of the government and the state-run media. If the Republican party was serious about winning the next election, Ronna Macdaniel would not be head of the RNC. It’s very hard to tell the difference between her and Liz Cheney.

There are other forces out there to worry about and I’m not sure our current lawmakers and President would be willing to stand up and say “hell no” to the World Health Organization. It will be a huge temptation for power hungry Democrats to ignore. By the way, note the date which this is slated to happen, this coming May, right before the presidential primaries. Watch the video below and think very hard about what is being discussed. It’s titled “Malinformation”

My friends, I have said this before, the air is heavy with an uneasy feeling about what is going on. Things just don’t feel right. It feels like the calm before the storm. Having grown up in Tornado country, I know exactly what that feels like. Stay vigilant.

VOLUME 12

My brain has been in maximum overload this morning, thinking about what took place last year, and what we are likely looking at for the coming year. It kinda feels like I just spent a whole year in some sort of asylum. Last night, my dearly beloved and I joined our friends at our Elks Lodge for a New Years Eve bash. Great party; sit down dinner with delicious food and drink. One of our favorite bands was playing, for an evening of dining and dancing. Everyone was having a great time, living in the moment. But the conversations at the tables over drinks were a little more somber, hoping 2024 would alleviate some of the bad experiences of 2023. But I can tell you, I didn’t hear any belief expressed by anyone, that such would be the case. Nevertheless, there were plenty of laughs and hugs to go around, and old friendships reinforced. The American Spirit was alive and well.

One of the first things that caught my attention this morning was the announcement by the white house that new regulations are coming for home appliances. I know a little bit about this, and what the results are likely to be. During the Obama years they took away incandescent light bulbs and replaced them with fluorescent lights. An incandescent bulb contains a tungsten element, what creates light when electrified in a sealed glass envelope. Very simple device. A fluorescent lamp requires mercury to ignite the gases contained in the lamp, with a compound containing phosphorous. Obviously fluorescent lamps have been around for decades, and countless thousands have been discarded releasing the mercury into the environment. So why would anyone think it was a good idea to mandate that all lamps contained mercury making the problem worse?

Our home was built in 1998, so all of our appliances were beginning to wear out during the Obama years. We bit the bullet and replaced all of them at the same time, which included a GE dishwasher that was manufactured under the new Obama mandates. Our old dishwasher was noisy, but wow, it really worked. The dishes were spotless. Unfortunately, it was beginning to leak. Our new GE dishwasher is all fancy with modern digital controls, lots of stainless steel to make it look spectacular, but doesn’t work worth a damn. It takes 248 minutes to complete a cycle, that has only lackluster results. You literally have to pre-wash the dishes because they have decreased the water usage so much, it doesn’t work like dishwashers of the past. My wife hates it.

So, now the geniuses are at work again, making more of the appliances we rely on less useful. When we replaced our kitchen appliances, we got a new GE glass cooktop, slide in unit with oven. The oven works wonderfully, the glass top stove has to be cleaned with a special cleanser to maintain its appearance. You have to use a single edge razor to remove the burnt-on stuff before applying the cleanser. This happens every time you cook on it if you want your kitchen to look clean and tidy. Caution do not allow sugar to collect on the glass between the pot and the heating element, it will ruin the glass top, and put big hole in your wallet. All of this tom foolery kind of makes a traditional gas range look a little more attractive. In my opinion.

I want you to think about what you just read. Why is the US Government in your homes? Why are they trying to dictate what type of automobile you can drive? Why are trying to dictate how you raise your children? Why are they focusing on light bulbs? These are “baby steps” in the overall plan to control virtually every aspect of your lives. They are on the road to total domination. They want every single human being to be subservient to the federal government. Whether you realize it or not, you are living in the beginnings of the abolition of people’s rights, and the beginning of total tyranny.

The same technology that allows your EV software to be updated via internet, can also be used to disable your vehicle at the will of the government. They can very easily control your movement. Digital WIFI residential thermostats will make it possible for the government to control how you heat and cool your homes. If they need to cut back power usage because the wind and solar can’t keep up, they will cut back your power usage like it or not. Watch for next announcement that you will no longer be able to buy analog thermostats, and new thermostats must be WIFI capable. Don’t think you’re going to get around it by using a wood stove. These are being banned all around the U.S. If you wake up at night with the feeling someone is plotting against you, you’re totally justified in your feelings.

Side note: A couple of years ago, I installed a digital WIFI thermostat in my house so I could control it via my mobile phone. I had to interact with Honeywell to activate it. Out of the blue a few months later, the gas company sent me a request to allow them access to it, so they could supposedly help me regulate my usage resulting in lowering my costs. My response was swift, removing it and replacing it with a new analog unit.

If you think I sound like a conspiracy nut, that’s OK. I would rather think of myself as being hyper vigilant regarding my highly valued freedom.

There’s an old saying that says; “As California goes, so goes the nation”. You better pray that no longer holds true. California’s governor, Gavin Nuisance just announced that the state will now provide free healthcare to 700,000 illegal immigrants. This will cost the California taxpayers about 1.2 billion for the first six months, and about 3.2 billion each year thereafter. Guaranteed to exceed those estimates, as everything always does. This is being done in spite of California facing a financial deficit of 68 billion dollars. Sounds like “pretty boy” Gavin has been enamored with “Bidenomics”.

In the past California has been a manufacturing and agricultural powerhouse. It has consistently ranked among the ten largest economies in the world. In 1995 its gross product was over 800 billion dollars. The California economy has been grossly mismanaged by the left leaning state government.

California businesses only added 6,000 new jobs in November of last year. For the last three months of 2023 the state’s unemployment continued to rise. The state continues to see crippling inflation. It appears that California entered into a recession in the fall of 2022, and the slowdown is not showing any signs of recovery into the foreseeable future.

I read another article that indicated that California’s labor force is transitioning into becoming service based. Reading between the lines, that tells me, more people are serving food and drinks than building stuff. This is not a good indicator. This means less revenue for the state. This is probably one of the many reasons they expect tax revenues to be 58 billion dollars below projections.

So, while the state continues to cater to illegals and minorities, the roads get worse, the cities are dirtier and more dangerous. Homelessness gets worse, and the state is looking a lot more like the “Brass State” as opposed to the “Golden State”.

Karma is indeed a bitter pill to swallow. All of the people that stood defiant of ICE, acting all righteous, protecting the illegals suddenly have a change of heart. It seems that all of that self-righteousness had a numerical limit. Who knew? They often cited the inscription on Statue of Liberty as their righteous defense, but I don’t remember that inscription having a numerical limit. I think these people are being just plain selfish. They want all of that welfare money for themselves. They don’t wanna share.

They thought it was all good as long as they all stayed in Texas, Arizona and California. Those are big places, why do they need to come to the cities? Why couldn’t they just live in the desert? Democrats are freaking liars and cry babies. They don’t give a damn about how immigration impacts you. They don’t wanna be burdened by it. They just wanna sound better than you. They don’t want to deal with the problem they created. Thank you, Greg Abbott, for giving them a taste of their own medicine. The more they cry the better I feel.

Well, we’re off and running in a brand-new year, and I’m just getting started with my ranting and raving about the things that irritate me to no end. I’m not sure how much impact my rants really have, but they sure make me feel better. I appreciate all of you that continue to follow my efforts to make a difference. If you like what I have to say, please let your friends know so we can reach more like-minded folks. All large successful endeavors start small. We the people have power in numbers. God bless all of you. Stay vigilant in your efforts to remain a free people.

VOLUME 52

Having been on both sides of the fence, union and non-union, I feel I have a license to comment on this matter. I am amused reading comments on social media about how employees think they have been mistreated, and abused by their employers, after having experienced working for some of the biggest assholes to ever walk, and endured it so I could make my house payments.

Firstly, I have to admit, I’m from another time, a time when people were one hell of a lot tougher and were able to stand up under the stress of being told what to do in a less than congenial manner. I remember when I was working my first job in a very large steel fabrication shop in Oklahoma that employed around 200 men in a building that covered eight acres. It had a huge whistle located in the center of the building that signaled start and stop times. One day I was getting particularly hungry just before lunch time, and asked my foreman what time it was. His reply was perfect, he said “they’ll blow the whistle when it’s time to quit”. In other word you don’t need to know what time it is, go back to work.

They didn’t care if you were tired, or hungry or having some sort of personal crisis, all they wanted was for you to perform the duties they were paying you to perform. Period. If you were having a bad day, stay home. But if you made that a habit, you would be out a job quickly. We had to “clock in” when we walked through the door in the morning, if you were a minute late, you were “docked” fifteen minutes, and so on every 15 minute interval. You were given the written rules when you hired in, if you found them too burdensome, you could opt out of working there. Simple. I wouldn’t say they were “slave drivers” they actually treated us well, they just expected you to work for your wages. That was a union shop by the way.

The toughest shops I worked in were union shops. They paid top wages, had great benefits, which resulted in a higher cost burden for the owners. This made it harder for them to compete with the non-union shops. To offset that, we had to be more productive. If you stopped to talk to your coworkers, you better keep it short, or the foreman would be breathing down your neck. Those shops were pressure cookers. But I was able to provide a better standard of living for my family with great health benefits, and paid vacations. Not a bad tradeoff for a little extra effort on my part. We took great pride in being union Ironworkers. The pros, the best in the business.

That inevitable time in my life came in my late forties when I decided to jump in and become a shop owner. The first time was not so good, as I was in a partnership with three other guys. My good friend I worked for years earlier, warned me about partnerships. He said they were marriages without sex. Truer words were never spoken. That lasted a couple of years before going down in flames. Five years later I did it again, only this time as a sole proprietor. It was a ten-year run of blood, sweat and tears. We did some great projects around Seattle, which you can still see today.

I was proud of our accomplishments, but the daily battle to deal with employees took the fun out of it. They brought their problems to work with them and they became my problems. Such as not paying child support, being arrested for soliciting prostitutes, being strung out on drugs, and just plain being lazy or crazy. My wife asked me one time, “where do you find these people”? I told her they find me. I sent one of my welders out to do a job and my truck was impounded by the Washington State Patrol. He was carrying a driver’s license that had been revoked months earlier. I checked it and put it in his file, having no idea it was invalid. Fortunately for me, I had a friend that was a state patrol office and was able to retrieve our welding truck before it was stripped of all of the tools in the impound yard. The list of employee problems was never ending, I could write a book about them. When I decided to throw in the towel and liquidate my shop, it was a happy day, it was like being liberated. I have learned two very important lessons in life, both from experience. Never be an employer, or a landlord.

Being an employer today is horrible. Our illustrious government has greatly contributed to this. It’s like being in a circular firing squad. The government spends our nation into oblivion causing record high inflation, then starts passing laws raising the minimum wage, which causes more inflation, which causes companies to cut back services and quality just to try and stay afloat. The employees that are now receiving these greatly inflated wages still can’t afford to live any better than they did before, because this whole exercise just raised the water level even higher. This whole dog and pony show doesn’t change anything, doesn’t change anyone’s economic status, it just makes the money less valuable. Just because you have more dollars, you’re not any richer. Companies have to resort to cutting staff, which means less jobs, plus raising the cost of the goods and services they provide, means their sales start to suffer. This causes an accelerated downward spiral, and everyone suffers. Try running a business under these conditions.

Today’s employees are so spoiled and entitled, they don’t stop and assess their roles in making this situation better. The more productive and efficient they are, the more prosperous their employers are, which results in greater rewards for their efforts. Employees that put forth a better performance, usually benefit by being promoted and receiving an improved rate of pay. Somehow, in later years people have inverted this whole idea, thinking they should be paid top wages from the beginning. Sorry, unless you are highly experienced and bring something special to the table, it’s not likely to happen. This is a misconception concerning college degrees. Even if you have a college degree, and you have no work experience, you’re in essence and entry level employee. You are going to be trained like everyone else, because every company has a different way of conducting business.

I’m going to change directions a little bit, but it’s part of this larger problem of lackluster productivity. Having an arthritic knee, I sometimes opt out going in a big box stores shopping with my wife. The pain in my knee and my wallet at the same time can be overwhelming. Anyway, last Saturday night I was waiting in the parking lot enjoying some tunes on Sirius FM, and watching a young man probably about 17 years old gathering up shopping carts. Not an unusual activity, but he was doing it with one hand. He had a cell phone in this other hand, which was his actual focus, not gathering shopping carts. So, instead of putting 20 carts together and pushing them back to the store, he was putting three or four together, and the small ones to boot. He spent over an hour wandering around looking at his phone while pretending he was working. Around nine ‘o’ clock he disappeared. About 15 minutes later an older guy came out and had the rest of the carts gathered up in less than 20 minutes. Not bad, this kid is making $15.00 an hour wandering around the parking lot gazing at his cell phone, contributing to the high prices I’m paying for the crap in his employer’s store. Interestingly, a few days later I’m having lunch with the owner of the company I work for. The owner is complaining about how his shop employees seem to lack reasonable efforts in their work. He cited their constant cell phone checks. I told him about my experience a few days ago in the parking lot, and said if I owned a business today, I would buy a set of lockers with small compartments and make the employees lock their phones up during working hours. A major portion of the work force in this country only has one useful arm. It’s like having a team of one-armed paper hangers.

We are in a unique situation where everyone is complaining about the way things are, but nobody wants to get off their asses and do something about it. If all employers banned cell phones during work hours, it would end overnight. They fire people for having drugs in their systems because the danger it imposes to themselves and others. In my opinion, cell phones pose the same dangers due to the distraction they cause. This seems like something OSHA should be enforcing.

Well good people, that’s the way I see things through my narrow scope of vision. I have to admit, I don’t think in color, I think in black and white, and right and wrong. No shades of gray in my color spectrum. Do it right or don’t do it at all.

VOLUME 51

We attended our annual company Christmas party last night, (yep, I am still employed as old as I am), and it was fantastic. Our shop is in a huge building, and they turn one section of it into a giant kiddies playground, a huge buffet, and they even have a DJ and light show for the older kids. It was indeed a great experience to see over a hundred folks enjoying the evening with friends and co-workers. They handed out gifts and dozens of cans of “Silly String” to all of the kids, you can imagine what happened next.

On the way to the party, my wife and I stopped at a local Shari’s restaurant to pick up a couple of pies for the buffet. When my wife returned to the car, she said the place was virtually empty at 5:30 on Saturday evening. She said the server told her it’s getting increasingly difficult to just stay open without customers. After attending the party for an hour or so, we headed back south to the “ranch” and stopped in at our favorite comfort food establishment, “Black Bear Diner” and grabbed some good old cholesterol laden vittles. This restaurant is quite large and was virtually empty. My wife loves prime rib, which they normally serve on Saturday evening, nope, not serving it anymore. The menu still looks the same, but certain items are no longer available. Simply not enough available customers to support the higher end food selections. My wife had a New York steak, I had fish and chips (all you can eat sea food platter is long gone) We topped it off with a blackberry cobbler with ice cream (a share dish). Keep in mind, this was “run of the mill” food, nothing exotic or special, no alcoholic beverages, and our total bill was $78.00. At that point, it became abundantly clear why Shari’s and the Black Bear Diner have a lot of empty booths. By the way, a Shari’s pie used to cost about 7 or 8 dollars, is now $15.00. The bill at the Black Bear was exactly twice what we paid about a year ago.

About two years ago, the geniuses here in Oregon (Democrats of course) decided that the minimum wage should be raised to $15.00 per hour, along with a few other costly items that employers were going to have to provide. We used to be able to buy a cheeseburger, regular sized fries and drink for around five bucks. Carl’s Jr. now charges $13.00 for that combination. It’s virtually impossible for us to get out of the local food market for under $150.00 for a weeks’ worth of regular stuff for two folks. I’m actually excited to see the price of regular gas down the $3.49 per gallon. That’s exactly one dollar more per gallon that we were paying during the Trump years.

Here is the bad part. These prices are never going down again. If anything, they will be going up in the future. Your income is not going to be able to catch up, and your life is going to become a lot different.

Your favorite restaurants, your local service companies, the small community specialty shops, they are going to slowly disappear because people can no longer afford to patronize them. The companies that will survive will be ones selling cheap goods made in China and other Asian companies, while American companies are being economically strangled. Auto manufacturers are having to deal with ever more stringent government mandates, including providing costly electric vehicles which most people don’t want, and all of that cost is being added on to new ICE cars which you can no longer afford. I was talking to a friend in the auto repair business, and he said none of his customers own their cars anymore. They just make never ending payments. Buying an older good quality used car is a much wiser choice today.

The government is determined to kill internal combustion cars forever. In the future you will see a concerted effort to make all of the old classic and antique cars disappear through all sorts of government regulations that will make it virtually impossible to maintain them. Insurance companies in Europe are partnering with the government to make insurance premiums on classic cars so high it’s obscene. Parts stores in the US have stopped stocking parts for cars over ten years old. It’s only going to get worse.

I’m sure you remember a few short years ago when American corporations were doing everything possible to win you over to their products and services. These same corporations are now conspiring against you, in partnership with the federal government to control the way you think and act. Did you ever think General Mills or Walt Disney productions would become your enemy? Did you ever think Target would be trying to influence your child’s behavior. Did you ever think in your wildest dreams that Children’s Hospitals would be sexually mutilating kids? This is all really sick stuff.

The people in my neighborhood are feeling the same way. Although we only know a few of them, they are showing their feelings by not decorating their homes for Christmas in the way they have in the past. People are being hurt by this current bunch of morons in DC, and the hurt is going to continue for a good long while. So, yep, it’s dismal and discouraging to watch our precious nation being ripped apart by some of the most inept and dishonest people I have ever seen in my lifetime.

Our company party last night was filled with folks having fun, enjoying each other, and for a few hours not thinking about the struggles they face. That is what we need to do, find solace in our friends and families, and not let ourselves be destroyed by these vile actors. The future of this country depends on strong people willing to “tough” their way through the hard times ahead and build a better future.

Gather with your family and friends and bask in the glory of God and his son Jesus Christ, focus on what really matters, and recreate your happiness. This life is only for a short time, eternity is what matters, and deserves your full attention.

VOLUME 50

Charlie Kirk posted a video on YouTube five days ago, watch it and then read my comments and think about it.

First things first, I totally agree with Charlie when it comes to Nikki Haley. She makes me want to cringe every time I see and hear her speak. Sorta like Hillary only different. Charlie says that Vievek is the youngest and most conservative candidate on the debate stage, again, I agree. Here is where we part ways. Charlie says young people are increasingly becoming conservatives because the current state of the union is not allowing them to participate due home prices being out of their reach, the cost of living is astronomical, and they just can’t get any traction.

From my observations over the past few years, I think young people are leaning more toward socialism, based on the very same reasons. They feel that capitalism is preventing them from having a seat at the table.

Fast rewind to the last Democrat presidential primary. Who was leading the pack? Bernie Sanders. Bernie Sanders would have easily beat out Joe Biden. Why? He had a huge following of young people that subscribed 100% to his message. They didn’t want to hear Joe Biden ramble on about record players and domestic violence. They wanted a major change in the way the game is being played, feeling they had a better chance under a socialist government.

All of you know I’m really old, older than old Joe but in much better shape. I bought my first home when I was 21 years old, a four room tract house for $7,000.00. I was working in a steel shop earning a whopping $2.25 per hour. My wife was a stay-at-home mom. If you amortize a $7,000.00 loan for thirty years at 6.5% interest, I was able to make the payments and still have decent car and food on the table.

A five room house today in the same neighborhood will cost you $148.00 per square foot or about $290,000.00 plus. Now I’m not great at math, but I calculate that as being roughly about 41 times more than it was in 1961. I’m going to guess that the payment for a $290,000.00 loan is going to be around $2,500.00 per month after a 15% down payment. Good rule of thumb is that your monthly income should be four times the amount of your payment. That means you have to have a gross income of about $10,000.00 per month to qualify, or about $63.00 per hour. That’s a big nut to crack to for a single income family. If husband and wife are both working, it’s still a big nut to crack when you add in two cars and household expenses. Add a couple of kiddies and it starts getting really tough. By the way average American wages today are about $59,000.00 per year or about $4,900.00 per month. You don’t have to be a mathematician to figure out that the picture isn’t exactly rosy.

So, a young adult coming out of college with a hefty student loan has to be looking at this as being highly unlikely for them to participate in the American dream. A reality check will tell them, it’s not likely to improve, ever. Socialism is starting to look like a lot better deal, with government funded housing among a host of other government provided services.

I don’t have to tell you that socialism is not the answer. So, what is the answer, and how did we get in this big mess? You can safely lay the blame on the United States Capitol steps. Inept politicians, steeped in greed, have brought us to this unpleasant place in time. Now they are exacerbating the problem by allowing hordes of uneducated, illegal aliens to flood across the borders creating even more need for welfare and higher taxes, in order to sustain the added burden of unproductive people. Now just for good measures throw in three or four military conflicts to fund, around the world. Joe Biden and the Democrats never stop talking about more taxes, you never hear them mention cutting spending. They just can’t seem to get enough of your money to spend.

I know several older folks that depend on social security to survive. One of them in particular barely exists on $1,200.00 per month. She worked hard during her life raised a couple of kids, good citizen, great American. Lives in an old folks home. An illegal alien that arrived a month ago is given a hotel room in a nice building, $2,400.00 per month in spending money, food stamps, and other goodies including free medical care. Is this the EQUITY they are constantly referring to?

Nope sorry Charlie, the country is really fucked up, and the Republicans are not doing a damn thing to help it. I really like you dude, but you’re not living in reality. The reality is that this country is on a steep slide to hell, and it’s picking up speed. If you watched the press conference today with Mitch McConnel and the senate Republicans any hope you may have had just got annihilated. It’s utterly hopeless.

This documentary is almost two hours long but will leave you stunned by the level of lies you were told about this event and the level of corruption in the court system. VOLUME 10

POLITICALLY INCORRECT CENTER-RIGHT PERSPECTIVE.

We used to have a tea pot years ago, that had a little steam port in the spout that whistled when the water was steaming hot and ready for tea. You could always tell when the old tea pot was ready to “blow” a few minutes beforehand, because it made a funny rattling sound and got louder just before the steam whistle began. I think like the old tea pot, our nation is making that funny rattling sound right now, and it’s getting louder daily. I have that “gut feeling” that things are getting ready to “blow”.

Virtually everything you are hearing on the news is an outright lie. The policies the federal government are putting in place, are based on outright lies. If you want to know how serious this is, you have to watch the video “The Fall of Minneapolis” on YouTube. It documents how the left manipulated the death of George Floyd in order to make major changes in the law and society. George Floyd died from cardiac arrest brought on by an abundance of drugs in this system, but the FBI and the state of Minnesota altered the autopsy to make it look like strangulation. The rest is history.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of the most hated women in congress. If you want to know who she is and why she is hated so much, watch the interview with Tucker Carlson below.

If you listen to what MTG is saying, she is verifying how powerful the military industrial complex is, and how much influence it has in our government. I’m not sure how we will ever reign in that power. It may be impossible at this point without an all out revolution, which will, in the end, destroy the country. Our nation is fully in the grip of money-grubbing politicians willing to sell their souls for who knows what? Also, she talks about the “out in the open” comments about going to war with China. How in the world does anyone with a functioning brain think that will work out well in the end? The people in power, across the board, Democrats and Republicans, are nothing but fools.

MTG also mentions how the “Green New Deal” is being silently initiated by the feds. In case you aren’t aware of what the “Green New Deal” is all about, you may be surprised it’s not about climate, or the environment, it’s all about restructuring the US economy. It’s all about a power grab, making you more dependent on the federal government.

https://www.congress.gov/116/bills/hres109/BILLS-116hres109ih.pdf

Read this and be terrified. This is being implemented without ever being voted on, or signed into law. Yep, and the Republicans are just going along as if everything is fine and dandy, nothing to see here.

If you are paying attention, our so-called President is totally useless, being led around by handlers, placed in front of a microphone and teleprompters, and he still can’t muster an intelligent speech. The feds are constantly rolling out new regulations and programs that are clearly not being created by Joe Biden, he is incapable of doing anything that rises to that level of creative thought processes. I’m 82 years old, and he is giving us old guys a bad reputation. I live in a two-story house and I have never fallen up or down the stairs.

This country is being governed by a committee or cartel, whatever you wish to call it, but it ain’t Joe. Someone with a brain needs to take command soon before it’s too late. This is pretty obvious to the rest of the world, and it puts us in a very precarious position.

Something else for you to chew on; Pennsylvania just modified its voting laws making it virtually impossible to invalidate a ballot for any reason. Signatures don’t have to match, no dates or I.D.s required. They have totally destroyed the integrity of the voting system. How many blue states are going to follow? As many as possible. If you think free and fair elections are ever going to exist again, I have some bad news for you. They’re over.

I don’t have enough time or space left to talk about the devastation that is going to be caused by four years of an open border. It is going to be monumental, the effects will unfold over the next twenty years, in very ugly ways. If you want to see a preview, look at Europe, it’s going to be repeated right here at home. It will touch the lives of every single American in some way, none of it good. Immigration only works if it’s well regulated and the immigrants are vetted. If you think I am wrong, I challenge you to remove the locks from your doors and leave the keys in your cars. I’ll check back with you in a few months.

VOLUME 49

This day evokes a lot of different emotions in my brain. Sometime in my later life, I crossed a line, can’t tell you when, but I started thinking a lot differently about this day. I recently attended a military vehicle show, drove my 80 year old Dodge shown above, and witnessed one of the most dramatic flag raising ceremonies I have ever seen. A color guard presented the flag and raised it to position, and a bugler flawlessly played the Star-Spangled Banner. Not a trumpet, a military bugle. A bit different. I can tell you standing amidst the antique military vehicles and watching this caused the old man to tear up a bit. I love my country and its people.

I have the utmost respect for our warriors, past and present. I was not one of them, unable to serve due to a football injury when I was twelve years old. But my heart has always been with these guys that literally stare death in the eye every single day. Imagine standing in one of the landing crafts approaching Omaha Beach knowing your chances of survival are slim to none, but when the door drops, you charge forward regardless. I can’t fathom the terror these young men felt at that moment.

Probably the most brutal 30 odd days in a soldier’s life was being involved in the “Battle of the Bulge”. I have read numerous eye watering accounts of what that brief space of time was like for these men, it was absolutely terrible conditions and deadly assaults by German infantry units. If you weren’t killed by enemy fire, you could easily freeze to death or lose your extremities to “frost bite”. In a time span of just over one month, the U.S. Army experienced over 70,000 casualties. My late father-in-law was a tank driver during that battle under Gen. George Patton. I hate it because I didn’t spend more time with him and learn more about his experiences in that great battle. That’s what people mean when the refer to being “young and dumb”. I literally missed the opportunity of a lifetime.

In the first paragraph, I mentioned about crossing a line in my thoughts about Veterans Day. I suddenly became much more sensitive and thoughtful about combat soldiers. I started thinking about how I would react to waking up every morning, with the realization I was going to face a lot of people that were intent on killing me, or causing great bodily harm as in losing arms and legs. What kind of impact does that have on your brain after two plus years? How do you deal with coming home to your friends and family after that experience. You must live in total paranoia just walking down the street in your home town after two years of constantly being hyper vigilant. I have never faced anything remotely like this, it’s hard for me to really imagine what it must be like.

Now my thoughts turn political. In my opinion, the last really valid war we fought, that was strategically necessary, was the Korean conflict. That made sense to me for many different reasons. Viet Nam, first Iraq war, second Iraq war, Afghanistan, in my mind were created by Washington D.C. neocons and the military industrial complex for purposes that had nothing to do with preserving freedom in the homeland. In my opinion they were nothing more than financial endeavors to enrich the D.C. war mongers.

My opinion expressed above, only make my feelings deeper for our veterans. These young people willingly signed on the dotted line, fulfilling their strong patriotic devotion to the USA to fight wars without merit, with no real end game. Every single one of the wars I just mentioned, the US Government, simply withdrew the forces, and walked away after spending enormous blood and treasure. That sends a very strong message to the warriors that the government never had any intention of victory. Why does a warrior fight if not for the glory of victory? A glaring example of this was the withdraw from Afghanistan, giving up, leaving millions of dollars of equipment, and abandoning one of our most Stategic airfields in the world.

Do you know what happens when you achieve a major military victory? Huge celebrations, with ticker tape parades, thousands of people gathering at seaports and airports to welcome the victors. The entire nation celebrates. That hasn’t happened since 1946. Need I say more? We have been fighting and losing useless wars for 77 years. It needs to stop. We need to quit sacrificing our young men and women to the gods of the almighty military industrial complex and greedy politicians.

God bless the young men and women who fought valiantly with honor and dignity. God damn the war mongers for the death and lifelong disabilities they suffered. God damn the monsters that would shred our constitution these brave men and women died to preserve.

As a nation we owe these valiant warriors far more than they receive. A huge thank you to all of the organizations that have been created to help our veterans cope with life after serving. God bless all of you that support these great organizations.

VOLUME 48

From the time I was a small boy child growing up in Oklahoma, I was constantly watching, and learning about life. I’m not sure if all kids do this, but I was very curious about most everything. One of the things I have noticed, is that the lives of humans and domestic animals are very similar. Especially in the area of behavior. The absence of teaching and discipline have exactly the same outcomes. Untrained and undisciplined animals are as you would expect, unruly and dangerous. Pretty much the same applies to humans.

I have owned a lot of cats in my life. Actually, that’s untrue. I have acquired numerous cats as kittens and allowed them to share my home while they grew up and became adult cats. I couldn’t actually say I ever owned a cat; I don’t think anyone owns cats. Cats can be very affectionate, or they can be extremely aloof. Usually, the latter. They can be very benign creatures or very destructive. I laugh when people tell me their cat is lost. I tell ’em, nope, your cat just decided to move and didn’t tell you. Cats are probably on average the most disloyal creatures you will ever encounter. If they were people they would turn you in to the authorities if it meant they got a bigger house to live in. Do I hate cats? Nope I love cats. I love ’em for what and who they are. If they had a middle finger, you would likely see it displayed often. That’s why I love ’em. They are very much capable of living on their own, they don’t need humans to feed them, they’re great hunters. They just hang with you, ’cause it’s easier. But they don’t really need you. If cats could talk, they would tell you that.

So, back to my point about behavior parallels. I have lived in my home for about 18 years. Quite a few years ago, a beaten-up old orange cat appeared in our neighborhood. Don’t have any idea if it’s male or female, so I’ll assume it’s male. He walks with a slight limp, his ears are bent, looks like he’s been in a few fights. He’s a loner, doesn’t appear to be part of anyone’s family. He has long scruffy orange hair. He is one of those cats with a flat face and looks like he’s frowning all the time. He will not come anywhere near you.

We have the traditional single older “cat lady” in our neighborhood that has four cats in her house and leaves her garage open slightly so the neighborhood cats can come in out of the cold and heat for drinks and snacks. So, she has named this old orange cat “Mango”. She says he hisses at her if she approaches him, but he’s happy to take her food, and she even has a little place for him to rest. Over the past several months, he has started spending the nights in our outdoor chairs on our front porch. She asked me not to hurt him, which I found sort of funny since I am not known for mistreating animals, in fact just the opposite.

The bottom line is that his old orange cat walked into our neighborhood from who knows where, established a place to eat, and sleep with the local single lady, if he chooses. He has set up an alternate place of rest on my front porch. Has an attitude that keeps people and dogs at a distance. (has no fear of dogs) I can probably name at least a half dozen human beings that have parallel behaviors. I’m sure you can as well.

VOLUME 47

There is so much chaos going on in the world today, it clouds your brain and blinds you so that you can’t see the overall picture. Ukraine is battling Russia, and there are abundant rumors that Vladimer Putin is near death or may already be dead. Iran is funding Hamas and Hezbollah and striking out at US troops in Syria. Nobody has a clue as to why we have US troops in Syria in the first place. Russia is making threats about launching a campaign against Nato nations. Israel is decimating Gaza in an effort to rout out Hamas and the Arabs around the world are in a giant tizzy. There are hundreds of small skirmishes going on around the world.

The Democrats are hell bent on destroying the Republicans any way possible. Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA are stirring up as much trouble as possible at any given point in time. Transwomen hate real women. Straight folks hate trans people for good reasons. Most everyone except people with warped brains have great disdain for drag queens, and for good reasons, they are vile and gross. Climate weirdos are trying to kill farming, and cause famines (they aren’t smart enough to realize it) they think supermarkets are the actual source of food. They haven’t figured it out that food comes from farming.

Democrats and media personalities hate anyone that does not live on the east or west coast. Just about everyone hates California. Drivers hate each other and are constantly getting into altercations with each other. Hell, people can’t even get along in checkout lines in the grocery stores. Poor people and rich people hate each other in equal amounts. Airplanes, cruise ships and theme parks have turned into battlegrounds.

Chevy drivers hate Ford drivers and vice versa. Just about everyone hates semi trucks, but can’t live without them. All of the stuff I highlighted above is what drives the news cycles day after day. It’s no wonder people are looking for ways to check out of this nonsense we are living in.

The people in the free world are engaging in activities that are borderline insane. They are playing with the possibilities of getting into nuclear altercations. They are draining their financial resources chasing their tales. They are slowly spending themselves into oblivion.

Now, here is where the clear vision comes in. Do you see China involved in any stupid military actions anywhere? Do you see any Chinese soldiers and equipment in the middle east? Oh, they are acting out in the South China sea, but only to continue to cause America to spend millions of dollars for absolutely nothing. It doesn’t cost much to taunt and show off. They are doing this in their own front yard. Do you hear of any racial strife in China? Do you think they are having debates about gender and transgender restrooms and transgenders in women’s sports? Are fringe groups rioting and burning cities in China? Nope, China is simply sitting back, and putting it’s money in strategic locations, buying large chunks of real estate around the globe. They are quietly waiting on the rest of the world to destroy itself with greed and hate.

The USA has stupidly transferred a huge chunk of its industrial might to China in a quest for riches. By doing so, the US is now very dependent on China for most essential products. So, while the US government is quickly driving us over the cliff financially, China collects big interest off of loans to Uncle Sam. The US politicians have sold the farm, and the real owners, the American people are left holding the bag once again.

China has very cleverly put themselves in in the “cat bird seat” with the help of the Americans. I have said this before, China will step into world leadership without ever firing a missile or a cannon. The rest of the world will be too broke to fight, both financially and spiritually. It was one hell of a ride while it lasted. It might be a good idea for you younger folks to buy the Chinese version of Babble and learn to speak Chinese.

You may wonder where I came up with the idea for this blog. Well, I watched the news for about 8.25 minutes, came very close to vomiting, before I switched to YouTube and watched a Kid Rock concert. It helped me see things more clearly. I rarely have a desire to be lied to, but when I do, I watch cable news. Thats because I’m too old to date. Have a great weekend, go buy more Cheap Chinese crap, and enjoy it while drinking Kentucky Bourbon. The state of the union looks better through a glass of bourbon.
